7. Ogasawara Mayu (Hoshizora no Caravan PV - she acted as someone whose dog had died. And I thought she was really natural at it. For someone who is always being funny, I was really impressed she could do something like that. From her denial and upsetness about it to her slow acceptance and moving on with the help of her friends...I know it may sound simple but the way she did it felt so real and it really left an impact for me. And I think her impersonations do show her potential in making expressions. I think if given the chance, she could do well.)

1. Matsui Rena - Her roles in MGSK and Gift made me realise that she's kinda better off an actress
2. Oshima Yuko - Ofc... XD She's a natural acting talent
3. Watanabe Miyuki - From a comedic girl in all 3 Geinin series to the vice president of a Yankee faction in MG4, the contrast of her roles is large but she did them so well
4. Takayanagi Akane - I'm not being biased here. The role that she did in Magical Radio was seriously funny and was done well, you can see the effort she had put in the role. And also that Horror special she did with Airin and Aya-chan told me that's she's ready for horror movies (I'm excited for her movie coming out in July btw)
5. Kashiwagi Yuki - Her blackhearted personality kinda helped with the roles that she had to play XD

 

Don't be fooled by the good acting in the so long dramas. IMO it's more because the director knew how to "drive" his actresses. things which all the MG are lacking.

Honestly, the only Yuko role I liked so far was in SPEC, but generally she has great presence and expressions, but haven't liked most of the projects she had been.

I want to watch Acchan's recent movies. Have high expectations on Sayonara Kabukicho, but she has improved over the years: personally I made my choices in base of the proyects I watched/liked. Like for example, I've never liked Acchan's doramas, but movies are far interesting.

 

Can't wait for all the jdrama experts to get in here and give an essay on how all the idols are crap actors
