Happy birthday Princess Okapan!

 

Today team KIV has stage, it's Okapan 's Seitansai. And she performs Yokaze no shiwaza It's wonderful

 

She was amazing in that performance.

Sorry, I know this is probably a stupid question, but what does seitansai mean? I've not come across the word before

 

Seitansai is a member's birthday performance. It doesn't always land on her birthday though.

I like her expression in this performance, especial her eyes, so beautiful

But yeah, it was such a sweet performance that I still thought about it a few days later and felt it was worth sharing. Okapan is a very good performer and really communicates the song's meaning well. Here's my upload:

 

^ Okapan's performance there had the aesthetics and feel of a lead character's star performance in the best anime tradition... I could easily see this performance taken scene for scene into a Shinkai Makoto or KyoAni story. Feel the same way as @broz0rs about its impact... her voice esp should be carried over unchanged into such an anime adaptation... it's delicate and sweet and airy.

 

It's been so long compared to other's sister group; the next single.

Okapan should be probably in it. There's a good response since Sousenkyo.

 

In what world do we live in that Okapan isn't a senbatsu member or even freaking center? I'm at day two of the Zenkoku Tour Final and watching her in Seifuku no Mannequin just killed me. She is out of this world beautiful and I found myself unable to look at anybody else. I've always had a soft spot for her but damn seeing that performance really reinforced my feeling. You know a girl is beautiful and has a strong aura when even Matsuoka Natsumi looks bland compared to her. #cheesysupportivehashtagforokapan

 

Looks like Okapan is in the front row of Yumemiru Team KIV going by the short version of the video on YouTube, she's certainly got a nice bit of screen time in this compared to previous singles. Here's hoping that's the case for the full video and hopefully she'll be in the senbatsu for the next single

 

This is from the Sasshi thread a few days ago. Sasshi was pulling for Okapan to be in senbatsu since Melon Juice. She definitely wanted her in Shekarashika.

Because my health hasn't been so great the past few days, I went to the hospital for a check-up and was told that I should be careful for a while, so I'm currently resting at home.
