    1. Yamada/Fujie Team M (2014-Present)
    2. Shimada Team M (2012-2014)

I like Team M for superficial reasons. They have the prettiest girls in 48 group. They also consistently get the best songs. Aside from that, they also have the most interesting bunch of girls. However, what I love about Team M is that even though it is packed full of strong bizarre personalities they are all such great friends. Their bond is so tight, they hang out together regularly, even after graduation. I know most people claim that M had it easiest during the grand shuffle since they were mostly unchanged. However, M had a huge number of high profile graduations after the shuffle and there were significant changes in the line up with the promotions of a bunch of new girls. However, despite the changes, M is still so M. Because of this, Shuffled M has one over original M simply because they proved that they can change but still retain its essence.

    3. Umeda Team B (2012-2014)
This team had almost all of my favourite girls. Kojiharu, Paruru, Miyuki, Renacchi, Umechan, Nattsun, Wakanyan, Miorin, Miyupon etc. I mean seriously if there's ever a star studded team it's this one.

    4. Original Team N (2011-2012) Yamamoto Team N (2012-2014) (@ForrestFuller I missed this earlier but I think there shouldn't be a distinction here either)
Even though I'm not particularly fond of a lot of the members, you cannot deny how amazing this team was at performing. The peak was when Yui joined them.

    5. Oba Team 4 (2011-2012)
Most people love the teams that are the newest when they just joined the fandom (no other reason why Minegishi Team 4 v.1 has such hardcore supporters imo) and for me it is Oba Team 4. They really seemed like an all star future senbatsu team to me even though it is unfortunately never going to happen anymore.

    6. Original Team H (Anai Team H) (2012-2014)
After Oba 4 ended they were my new babies lol.

    7. Akimoto Team K (2009-2012)
They were really a pretty amazing team imo. Full of very good performers. Also Jurina wasn't obnoxiously near the front so it was actually enjoyable seeing her with the big guns like Tomochin, Yuko and Sayaka.

    8. Oshima Team K (2012-2014)
I liked a lot of the members and they were pretty solid performers but it was really irritating how Jurina became their center.

    9. Ota Team KIV (2014-Present)
I really liked a lot of the members but they never really impressed me much as a team.

    10. Matsui Team E (2013-2014)
This was my fave SKE team even though I generally don't like SKE. I think they look good together. Takayanagi Team KII (V2) (2013-2014) were pretty close too but I like the E girls a teeny bit more.

Also, I'd just like to end off by saying that Kuramochi B was one of the worst teams ever. That team was just embarrassingly bad and awkward. Aside from the huge amount of girls that I do not like, they just had no chemistry with one another. The high profile members and the members I like also didn't quite fit in or mostly just did their own thing. Original BII and Minegishi 4 was pretty bad imo too even though I wasn't interested in anyone in those teams, they did seem to get along with each other.

Well it's almost the same but I think Yamamoto Team N (2012 - 2014) is referring to the team that did the very first Kokoten. But it's abit confusing for Yui since she came in 2012, and left in 2013, so I don't know if she's considered as being a kennin from both eras. Same as Nana as she transferred to M in early 2013 lol.

Ainyan graduated in 2012, so I would consider her as being part of the 1st era.
Lemon came in 2013, so she's from this 2nd era lol.

Memberwise, they're the main differences I can think about.

That's when I prove you wrong lol. Even if they haven't done stages before, I like a loooot of members from Takahashi Team 4, and their spirit in the sports fest. Juri as captain is something I really like too. So I actually voted for them haha.

It was on topic, unlike your off topic post.

Yea but if that's the case, Fujie Team M is arguably very different from Yamada Team M; Shinoda Team A and Yokoyama Team A v.1 as well since they both had huge number of graduations and many new promotions.

The logical way to differentiate the teams is by the shuffles

If we go by that, then as @mysoshipinups has pointed out/is getting confused about, there should be no difference between original N and Yamamoto N (2012 -2014). The team was more or less, essentially the same, minus a number of graduations and plus some kennins.

@ForrestFuller maybe you should consider that as one and the same then.

I'm not in the know about anything NMB but from looking at the info on the wiki alone I would conclude that Original N/Yamamoto N (v1) was from 2011 to 2014.
