I want to ask what's the difference between Nationwide handshake and individual handshake? Seeing both of them mentioned many times on nogizaka46 blogs.

    Rankings!

    Ranking by twitter profile mentions.

This checks how many twitter user profiles mention each member by full name.
I know some girls are more commonly known by nicknames but trying to get all nicknames will surely end with many inequalities so I'm only using full names for everyone.

    Google trends ranking
Using only full names in Kanji, I made a ranking of the members' relative google trend scores.
Scores are imprecise but they are accurate relative to the top member of each ranking.
Even when scores appear equal the higher ranked members are in the correct order.

    Dates analysed: 16/01/20-to-17/01/19.
    Location: Japan only.

Both really straightforward, only trends was difficult to put together.

twpro.jp is a site that checks all twitter profiles for keywords.
trends.google.com allows you to check keywords against each other and I also chose to limit the search to one year and Japan only.

The difficulty with trends is that they don't use absolute figures, only relative ones, so I had to adjust everything to one number, whichever the highest scoring member got.

It's a website for you to write your farewell/birthday message to Nanamin!
Only 150 characters though but still better than nothing :)

They all look boring and don't really seem to find into Nogizaka at all, but that's my opinion I guess. Also way too early. They should have waited a year or 2 more. No member caught my attention.

if the video does not show watch the video here

this or you just are 2nd gen supporter [hehe]
anyway, i quite agree with you that they arent fit like elegant/oujou/lady-like image of nogi. they look just ordinary cute girl (probably much cuter than average) but still didnt catch that image of nogi. probably one or two years later they gonna blossom into fine lady, not cute girl.

Well kind of. I feel like attention will go towards 3rd gen and 2nd gen/unders will be neglected even more. They kind of remind me like Keyaki girls for some reasons. I know I have to give them time, but there was something special about every Nogizaka member of 1st and 2nd gen that is missing in Keyaki and 3rd gen nogi. I don't know what it is

The thing is, by the time we got to know the 2nd gens' names they were already on Nogidoko.

Can you explain that a little bit more. I don't know what you really mean since I didn't really get into Nogidoko.

When I first got into Nogi I mostly knew the popular faces Maiyan, Ikoma, Sayurin etc. I always wanted to know unders and 2nd gens more. I only saw them in the background in performances not knowing their names. Eventually I started watching NogiBingo. I watched it with eng sub, but still it wasn't really that needed. They did more activities than talking

After a while I knew more and more names. I got really exited when I watched live performances again and recognized the members. It was nice knowing their names. I know all members now. I never thought I would.
