Paruru Fans can I ask you a question?
Ok so I know Paruru's graduation was a while ago but didn't her graduation really mess up the next-ace "lineage" for AKB, since it should/would have been Maeda-Watanabe-Shimazaki-Mion/Nana but they kind of jumped ship to Jurina/Sakura because Mion doesn't have the years yet? Idk how do you guys feel about it?

Btw I'm not saying Paruru shouldn't have graduated. I loved Paruru's personality tbh, but I didn't enjoy her skipping out on events in the beginning but she looked so sick and different from her original self. She looks much healthier and happier doing acting I think for sure.

Acchan > Yuko > Sasshi(if you counter her as HKT then skip) > Mayoyo > Bakaei > Paru > Mion/Nana/Mako

But yeah, so if you see it as this, kawaei was a legit successor too. It wasn't just Paru's part for "messing up" the group's lineage.

And I don't mind seeing non-AKB members being the ace of AKB. Rather I think it is even more interesting that way.

 

You know why Paruru became like that? It because Kawaei graduate from AKB48..No, i'm not joking
Paruru health condition maybe the issue, but thing inside Paruru already broken when Kawaei left..it makes her condition worse
You can see the different Paruru before and after Kawaei gradute..that's what i feel

It's pretty easy. She rose, she shone, she fronted two of arguably the best A-sides in the past 2 years, she's out the game now so whatever they do from here is not for us to worry about anymore. Sans Mayu, Haruka was the last legitimate mothership ace and she did her part as she could. (And Rii was pushed after Haruka when she fronted for AnRiRe in a package deal while in contrast, Haruka was being pushed by herself, i think)

 

IMO the lineage stuff is just a thing management abandoned years ago.

No, Yuko was never considered AKB48's ace. Neither was Sasshi, neither was Kawaei, and neither will Naachan be either.

AKB's "ace lineage" has always been Acchan > Mayu stint > Paruru stint > abandon ace ship and do whatever the frick they want. Sakura has been groomed for the ace position for years now, but until she transfers from HKT, it will never happen. Mion is next in line, but she won't be getting another center position any time soon as long as they keep pushing Sakura and Jurina as centers.

That's not what the problem was. All they had to do was airdrop a few girls into the center position and keep them there. They kept taking Mako in and out of senbatsu, kept putting paruru in and out of center position. Their inconsistency with their pushes is what messed up the order.

Anyway, i'm so happy for her already getting another drama up her sleeve. does anyone have any translated videos of SSM? I wanted to binge watch it all when it was completed lol

In news articles or announcements, they say 'Shimazaki Haruka', often preceded by 'former AKB48'
She said on Paru Radio that the cast of Super Salaryman called her Paruru or Paru-san. She often refers to herself on the radio as Paruru
Close friends might call her 'Zakki', her nickname prior to AKB.
