[GENERAL] The NGT48 Thread

To me, group image apart, NGT48 have the most weird (in a good sense) / crazy / noisy / funny members of all. You always end up laughing watching them at Tofu Pro Wrestling / Road to W.I.P. or AKBINGO. It should be explored better. Of course there're other members besides those.

 

Personally I assumed NGT48's image was: pure / innocent / naive
but I wonder what everyone else thought

 

Since NGT48 sign to Sony Music, will their records be available on Spotify like Nogizaka46 & Keyakizaka46? Yeah, only 1 type released there every single.

AKB48 also have a page on Spotify but only releases from late 2011 to early 2013 even, in my country, now only Sugar Rush is accessible.

Since Spotify is available on my country, I'm getting lazy to convert CD to MP3 but I'm still buying CD because I consider it an interesting collectible item.

 

According to Kitahara Rie's Twitter when I woke up this morning, management decided to cancel NGT48 appearances at the aforementioned events except for the Hard Off Eco event.

 

So I asked more people about what NGT48's concept/image is as a group, and the consensus seems to be: country girls!

 

NGT never gets good things happening for them

 

Only 5 more days until Miizun's graduation

 

That really sucks for NGT.
But I'm glad for her.

 

In my opinion, she deserved to be in N3. I remember seeing a program that showed her being the only KKS in the back practicing at the same time as the N3 stages until the KKS came on at the end. Everyone else was looking at their cellphone, but she was the only one practicing with. every. song. Plus, Miizun is making her rounds through all of the NGT radio shows, so listening to them all this week is really making me sad ><

 

Well she gunna hold a solo handshake event for 3 hours

Midori to Mori no Undokouen currently holds onto the #2 spot in music video ranking on iTunes Jp! 2 hours ago it was number #1, the chart keeps changing tho!

 

Unfortunately, I can't fly to Japan on the fly ><

Midori should really have been an A-side. Great to hear it's doing better than the A-side of that single! lol

 

Shoot Sign is #4 lol

 

I don't know if it's just me, but am I the only one really loving the electric guitar solo in Midori? lol

 

I've just stumbled across Miizun's HS event in Niigata on the plaza by the ALTA store. It's difficult to see her through the wota and I think photos will be impossible, but at the moment she's about 20 metres away from me wearing a sort of pink bridal headdress. I'll try and get some sort of photos and I'll post them tonight.

Niigata Picture Report 2017/03/26

As I mentioned upthread I'm currently spending a short time in Niigata.

Firstly here are some posters and billboards I saw around the city, the last one of which appears to have been signed by the girls:



So next I went up to the plaza by the ALTA department store which appears in MVs:



I then became aware of a crowd behind me with some sort of event going on:



I knew that Miizun's grad HS event was due to take place today but I assumed some indoor venue had been arranged. Just then I spotted this sign with the NGT48 logo just as 'Midori to Mori no Undokouen' started playing over loudspeakers:



So what else could this be other than Mizzun's HS! The procedure I think was that wota went first to this tent where they paid for a pre-ordered CD and gave their address. I think this is why these people are filling out forms:



Then they had to join a queue which was long but moving reasonably quickly. I then tried to see if I could see Miizun. I first tried looking from the side but no joy:



Going further round to the front was difficult but I had a go and I managed to get this photo of Miizun, not good quality, but it's the best I could do (she's wearing a sort of bridal-type headdress):



Next I went onto the NGT48 Theater in the Lovela 2 shopping mall:



Tonights performance was a Pajama Drive stage which was only for people living outside of Niigata Prefecture. Seeing as I'm using my Tokyo hotel address in the AKB48 Ticket Center I thought I'd be in with some sort of chance but nothing doing, I couldn't even get a 'waiting for cancellation' place. Anyway here's the Theater entrance:



Next to the Theater was an amusement place which had NGT48 crane capsule machines. I had a go for 300 JPY and I won a button with Ainya's picture on it :



Finally I went to the river and took a couple of photos of places which I'm sure appeared in the 'Max Toki' MV:



A very interesting afternoon!

 

@David61 Thanks for the report! Specially because there're not many from Niigata! It's a pity you couldn't get tickets for the night performance but I'm glad you had a good time there. I wonder if this is Miizun's message ball:
