Almost sounds like someone took a remastered track from the glory days of thrash and added idol vocals. Great number.

You kinda have to love Necronomidol, the only idol group (to my knowledge) to have performed with pig heads scattered about the stage.

I was intrigued by the clips of Necronomidol posted by @spineyrequiem so I decided to check out more of them.
I am currently listening to their album 'Nemesis'.

Although it is a bit messy at some places (probably because they tried to cram as much ideas as possible into one album), there are some nice songs on the album.
And I like how they switch from old school black metal tremolo riffing to more electronic oriented moments within seconds. Very interesting!
I am halfway through and my favorite song so far is Skulls in the Stars.

Kindai Girls, I heard about them because Tsunku wrote a song for them. A rare idol group where every member is a university student.

 

I've been hooked on these groups' discographies for weeks. Japan definitely brought some of the coolest alternative rock bands ever
