Way cool how they fit in as well with band festivals as with other idol groups.

NOAN-YAON (Womens Noise) with the incredible Gacharic Spin as back up band. This collaboration has occurred on several occasions and was great to see Hana, Chopper and the girls mask up, and put some additional fire under Genkidane.

Recognizing Moa' skills on bass and Misa has been seen behind the drums on more than one occasion, it appears as if our Armor Girls have completed the lineup for a band. "Plume" will debut a one-man performance on August 13th @Benoa Ginza.
Moa & Misa have added Hitome on vox, Mayu on guitar and Maki on keys. Yua Panda will fill in for M.I.A. Armor Girl Yua.

I'm consistently amazed by all the activities these girls are involved in, aside from the multiple, lengthy performances occurring on a daily basis. It must be quite a challenge to stay in top physical condition in order to maintain such a demanding schedule. Proper diet, I'm sure, plays a key role in their daily regiment.
Perhaps the "I Can Fry" team, led by Captain of Special Attack Corps. Erina, Armor Girl leader Misa, and Next Ace Member Hitome, have discovered the secret ingredients for a healthy diet???

Continuing the festival theme from above, one of the more remarkable appearances came at Loud Park.
Touted as Japan's premier metal festival, and largest in Asia, Loud Park attracts metal artists from across the globe along side some of Japan's most notable metal stars.
That years lineup included, headliner and prog-metal kings Dream Theater, Dragonforce, German thrash legends Kreator, Marty Friedman, and a host of other recognizable names, ............................and KAMEN JOSHI.

In a bit of irony, the festival that year was held at Saitama Super Arena and the girls had just announced a week prior, at a Zepp Tokyo one man performance, that they would hold their biggest one man performance to date the following year at the SSA . The girls must have been filled with excitement and anticipation knowing that in a years time, that stage would be all theirs.
In order to make maximum impact on the Loud Park attendees, a trio of highly regarded Japanese musicians were enlisted to back the girls in their performance.
-Daita on guitar (Breaking Arrows, BiNecks, Siam Shade)
-Shinya on drums (Luna Sea)
-Masayoshi Yamashita on bass (Loudness)

A real rarity to see an idol group perform at such an event and certainly must have helped propel them into 2015 with the #1 success of Genkidane in January and capping the year at the aforementioned SSA.

Another of the the bigger festivals attended is Rock in Japan. The largest 3 day rock festival in Japan in terms of attendance.
2014 certainly was a busy festival season in Japan for the Masked Girls. Most of their festival performances in 2015 occurred in foreign lands.

How Stuff's Made: Idol Edition
On a promo excursion to Thailand, six year veterans Anna & Kanon visit the factory where the awesome Alice Project Signature Akiba Sandals are manufactured. I purchased a pair a few years back and they're still going strong. Ideal for poolside and beach, but beware, with the squeaky sound effect they produce, dogs especially find them most enticing. Fortunately the bubble insert that produces the sound is easily removable.

Back on page 16, post #304, part of the discussion revolved around stage design/lighting featuring the latest advancements in LED technology from El Tech. This years expo showcased the latest advancements along with Kamen Joshi, once again, providing the convention attendees their unique brand of live performance combined with the seizure inducing LED backdrop and flooring.

The 75 minute behind the scenes documentary of Kamen Joshi final 24hrs leading up to the incredible Saitama Super Arena performance.
Highlights include their first look at the newly designed stage set from the audience perspective. It provides a perspective of how massive that arena really is. As their new intro begins to play, with the spirit of "Jason" providing the narration, you can really experience all the emotions of the team as it is representative of the the first 5 years of hard work they have endured.
When the time of the show draws nearer, we get the quad cam experience in order to witness the excitement backstage from each of the 3 units final preparations as the lights go down and the crowd begins to roar.
With a show of this magnitude it was great to see all the extra effort and expense put in to the production including, huge flame towers, mega co2 blasters (horizontal and vertical), the spherical video array, confetti bombs and the triple layered stage that also featured the extended, cross shaped runway with elevated star, as well as Anna's Surf-Cam. She went as deep into the crowd as you'll likely ever see from any performer, idol or otherwise. Not bad for an indie group.

Another of the unique aspects was the decision to prohibit the traditional light sticks and provide attendees with ripple lights, essentially led wristbands that staff had remote control of the color scheme.

Those that are into the gaming scene might know of "Game Market" on YouTube with the host "Gorgeous the Space Pirate". Many times has Steam Girl leader Erina Kamiya appeared on their broadcast. In an effort to start a "Game Market Revolution", and realizing that the SSA show would be a high profile event, he conspired with Erina to flash the official revolution hand sign at some point during the performance. Aside from all the other cameras capturing the festivities, Game Market had their own spy-cam, or Erina-cam, in order to capture her subversive antics. They got what they wanted, and then some.

I know some of you guys have these already, but I got them last week and this site is down a lot lately. Anna & Moa SEITANSAIS!! Both of these are awesome with amazing setlists and highly recommended for Anna / Moa fans. Used Nozomi as a proxy and took about 10 days total so my best advice is to strike sooner than later when the media you want comes out in the store so you can get it timely!
