she is scared of drunk (or drugged) guys. she was very uneasy before entering the club and it looks like her fears were not groundless. when she walked in slow motion you can hear the voices of some guys that recognized her were like "Oh, it's Sashihara. Sashihara from AKB". the rest was cut out and replaced with explanation from Lily. even though Lily said that she was talked to by various drunk guys it probably wasn't in a pleasant manner, otherwise there wouldn't be a need to cut it out, and it wouldn't scare Sasshi so much.

Asking an otaku with social phobia going to a club is already quite big step, plus she might be a little bit drunk too haha

I think the melting point was when they told her that at the end of the roke there will be "Fortune Cookie" performance with Sasshi and the DJ of that night. And she basically just was too afraid of the people (and drunk people) there that she broke down to tears. It's a rare sight of Sasshi eh.

They had to cancel the roke and went to the ramen shop to finish the show.

Wow.. poor Sasshi, she's still a kid at heart. I think I'm going to rewatch that knowing the context. She looked really cute, and her being scared didn't cross my mind until she started crying. Lily Franky keeps taking her to these weird hipster places, and the one that finally broke her is a club lol.

I recall one of the best variety jobs Sasshi had was handling very drunken Downtown Matsumoto and Hamada. She must have dug deep for that one if she's uneasy around drunk guys.

It makes sense if you remember she's better at handling people one-on-one, especially when you think of being able to control who is with you in a particular venue. After all, even at idol concerts those are still people who are paying some big ass dollars to see you... Whereas this is a guerrilla type event where not everyone is even going to be friendly.

I've just watched it and also think this was the main reason. Not everybody is friendly in a place like that, and it can be even worse if they're drunk or under some drugs. Definitely it was a good move to cancel the Fortune Cookie to avoid unnecesary hassle.

Oh my poor sasshi, I kinda understand her current state. Beside the thought of drunk people or might scared her. I also thought the possibility of not so welcoming people there (not talking about being harsh or anything but about the fortune cookie thing) this song is yes for everyone, but I don't think it suit the nightclub vibe at all. Sasshi in my opinion is always thinking ahead in her step, and it might be really scary for her if she had to sing her song to whole new crowd who might not respond her with a good feedback (and it's understandable since this is a club we're talking about, they probably wanna hear EDM or something).

 

At the Saitei Otoko episode, she was asked what was the most "saitei" moment in SSK, she answered "The wedding announcement".
