That's the amazing thing about Kazumin. On one hand, she's always this lovable, funny 'variety member' in the Nogi TV programs. On the other hand, I have seen many photos of her (on Instagram, here or elsewhere) where I go "wait, who is THIS pretty lady...oh, it's Takayama."

On a similar note, I've been pondering whether to buy her photobook or not. Worth it? She's not my oshi exactly, but I admired her for the reasons I stated above. Funny, gorgeous, could cook a mean spaghetti, head of Nogi's boardgames club...PERFECTION.

Buy it. It's a lovely photobook. Like you said, she has many sides and the photobook is another proof of that.

Is Kazumin still using her fake voice? Is that why she keeps losing it? Also, which is her real voice and which is her fake one? I never did understand if their was a difference.

Also, get Kazumin's photobook. Support them as much as possible. While not as good as the top tier Nogi members such as Nishino or Maiyan, I like Kaz's better than Asuka's. I wish she had released it this year amongst the other member's so that she could've been slotted into the photobook news.

 

It was first revealed by Nanamin in Nogibingo 1 (which made her cry )but if I remember correctly, its the accent and the pitch of her voice that she's changing back then. Now, she's using her real low voice (which she considers "not cute" that's why maybe she tried to hide it) and that super fast accent when super excited haha

Ah, btw, do you guys know where can I find this exact scene? I think I saw it before but I can't remember where. (I tried Manatsu tour 2015 but I can't find it there)

NogiBingo 1st season episode 6's Shoujiki Shogi. Nanamin really came out of the blocks with that one!
But I'm also glad that she's reverted to her real (or close to real) low voice

 

@KazuminTechi Is there any comparison of her two voices? I can't tell the difference when I watch old NogiDoko vs NogiChu.

The title is loosely translated to Takayama Kazumi's 3 coloured voice. She said it herself that the cute, idol voice is very tiring for her

 

The thing about that is that I don't ever remember her using the cute idol voice... was it early in their careers? Like in the very early NogiDoko episodes? If the deeper one is her normal voice, then what's the one she's using for this interview?

 

Possibly. Being an international fan, all we've got are subbed stuff and snippets of what we can trawl from places like Youtube. Can't really answer that question bar saying that I've heard iterations of her voices all throughout

Still, it doesn't take away the fact she is one of their best speakers and moodmakers. Earned her a trip (with Manatsu) to LA recently, I reckon
