It's complicated. To be honest sales have been less than I expected but the fantastic sales increase can't continue forever. There is a real ceiling on sales. In hindsight I should've lowered my expectations. There wasn't a big increase in HS slots available, there were few rounds before the single was released and moreover the reason the increase is low should be a big impact: Hirate and Imaizumi's absence. With all that in consideration these sales definitely aren't bad though it is a wakeup call that the Keyaki miracle will fade away shortly but that we shouldn't be upset about it. These really are incredible sales for their age. Took Nogi 3~4 years and they're set to beat SKE's weekly record.

And with that, they have already beaten their first week sales for Fukyouwaon! Further congratulations!

Loving this single. Yui's solo gives me life, easily my favourite song out of all of them.

I wonder what sales jump we should expect. Fukyouwaon jump was 28k (I mean the difference between sum of 6 days and the actual 1st week)

Crossed it out because Oricon reported ~643k (subject to rounding, and like Soundscan, slightly less than 643k - Oricon actual numbers is 642,936, rounded up) on the first week (although, as someone mentioned earlier, Soundscan/Billboard Japan reported 723k (rounded up from 722,954) [hehe]).

I don't think they can reach 850k with 5th single. But I have high expectation for next single cause 2nd gen hira will be added.

This is a good progress, isn't it? Just imagine if Tecchi and Zuumin got full slots, the increase will be even more significant.

Zuumin and Techi would add 33 slots @ ~~500 per slot that's 16,5k.
Wouldn't be the biggest increase but something.
From 2nd to 4th they jumped 100k each...

I am actually surprised it did better that Fukyouwoan.
But yeah next single we will probably see the big jump people expected for this one.

^Decent first week but I was expecting at least 50k more over Fukyouwaon regardless of Techi or Zuumin hs.

I guess most people/fans want depressing songs from Keyaki. Should've made Hiraishin the A-side!

It's about 70K increase... I don't know why people are still bitching about the sales... also, it's only week one.. we know by know 46 groups have better longevity than 48 groups...

let's wait a few more weeks to see

Because Oricon, and specifically 1st week of Oricon, is the one almost all people care about, especially in Japan. But like other groups they are going to just add more and more members to hs and the numbers should rise next single

Does anyone have the handshake tickets from the 5th single cd+dvd versions and not plan to use them? Would you be able to donate to me? :)

I will cover the postage costs to Australia, please send me a message!

    Thanks!
