Their concept is idol you can meet. Meaning the theater and HS are most important. If there is anything to complain I want them to focus on the theater more when obviously they are not gonna get more than 2 releases from AKS

And the theater is very low chance of entry. Oh well, hopefully there are HS events for me during my next trip!

I'm sure the discussion has been done to death, but this is one of my biggest gripes. HS has become too important and factors into AKS decisions way too much. To the point where it basically encourages idols to be disingenuous at HS to attract more lonely wotas and get on the fast-track to success.

Is the concept "idols you can meet" or "idol characters you can be fished by"?
Kinda feels like the spirit of the event—meeting the real people up close—has been lost.

I mean. Theater is to see the girls' talents and if you are the musical type, then listen to them live. HS is for the fishing.

BTW, being fished by a pro is awesome. :D Even if it is expensive (about 1€/second) it is totally worth it.

Yeah, looking at sales numbers, I'm in the minority for just wanting the girls to be "real" and not fishers (though some girls can be natural fishers just by being themselves too). To each their own. That's not gonna change now, it's too successful. But I'd like AKS to add something else that reduces the importance of HS. It carries too much weight right now for deciding pushes and senbatsu spots. Lots of girls get passed over just because they don't make as much at HS.

Sweet jebus the latest midnight stage was good. I’d happily paid 1d20 multiplier to regular stage ticket price to have seen it live.

Anyone got a setlist for the midnight stage? I know most of the songs but the first two... either that or I've forgotten them

Tbf, I just found out that We're All In This Together was already covered in Japanese by a group called AAA so they're covering the cover in a sense.

Recently there has been a trend in Twitter #SKE各期の推し挙げてけ, or ''Tell me your oshi in each of SKE gen''. It went like this.

    1期
    2期
    3期
    4期
    5期
    6期
    D1
    7期
    D2
    8期

So far among the girls themselves we have had Aiai, Airi, Oochan, Ayuka, Naruu replying. Most of the girls are 7D2 so naturally they just come up with loving everyone or writing their own name (Aiai) when it comes to their gen. Interesting things include: Oochan wrote ''everyone'' for all gen and said she was a DD; Aiai wrote Airin for 2nd gen and Airin herself replied; Suuchan joined and asked why there was no transferred member. Then lastly Naruu trolled the tag by leaving blank spaces at all gen except for gen 2 and put Abiru Riho there [hehe]

Considering that every sistergroup is releasing something (single or album) by the end of the year, SKE48 will have the same pleasure to release a single:(

I don’t mind what they release as long as there is a handshake event during my next trip to .jp.

Exactly my thoughts xD So for me a release around February/March would be perfect ^^
