I think I'm gonna post it now. This is my thought about AKB48 51st single. I just hope it's a large senbatsu members with more native AKB48 members on single.
Percentage of AKB48 members on AKB48 large singles:

• Everyday Katyusha: 22/26=84.6%
• Manatsu no Sounds Good: 27/36+75%
• Sayonara Crawl: 17/36=53.1%
• Labrador Retriever: 17/36=47.7%
• Kibouteki Refrain: 20/32=62.5%
• Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai: 21/32=65.6%
• Tsubasa wa Iranai: 20/31=62.5
• High Tension: 15/22=68.8
• Shoot Sign: 18/32=56.25%
• Negaigoto no Mochigusare: 18/35=51.4%
• 11Gatsu no Anklet: 12/28=42.8%

2 singles with less than 50% percentage. 11gatsu has the lowest. This is no good for AKB48. Well, in 11gatsu AKS could put Yunana & Ayaka but why couldn't they put Seichan? Seichan would give bigger impact for AKB48 than the other 2. Yunana & Ayaka should be groomed on their groups respectively, AKB48 should groom its own members.
Already had Yuiyui? Yuiyui isn't the only one. Yunana isn't the only one who is groomed in SKE48, there're also Rara, Maya, Yuzuki, Sakipon, Kumachan. The same way as Ayaka isn't tho only one who is groomed, there're also Rei, Eriko, Azusa, Sae.
Who are the other AKB48 that should be groomed? Simply, members of 7suki except Nako. Even Mion & Mako still need to be groomed.

51st single, senbatsu changes I suggest are:

• Mayuyu (grad) <-> Seichan: Seichan derserves to be new ace/center of Team B after Mayuyu grads
• Ayaka <-> Sayaya: Sayaya deserves to be new captain of Team B after Yuria grad. This needs shuffle indeed.
• Yunana <-> Satone: Ace of AKB48 D2 though I don't like her.

Changes that I'm not sure:

• Hana/Mikurin <-> Nako: Should be changed? Mikurin may rank higher this year sousenkyo but Nako is still more popular on social medias. Hana just meh. Maybe we can keep Mikurin and replace Hana with Nako instead.
• Rin <-> Naru: I fear there's a conspiracy from AKS to naru fans that Naru won't be senbatsu of normal single to provoke her fans that the only way to make Naru senbatsu is to make her senbatsu on sousenkyo. Hope I'm wrong.
• Rie (grad) <-> any STU48 member beside Yumiko (Hina?): If Rie is no longer member in 51st single, better to be replaced by any STU48 member but seems she still until her graduation next spring.
• Rika <-> Hinatan: Many people want this change but it's hard I think, Rika has got agency support now.

Additional members:

• + Megu: Rather than Shiichan (when she grads?), Myao, & Hiwatashi, I'd suggest Megu to be senbatsu instead. Even, I've heard someone suggest Megu to be new ace/center of Team A.
• + Tomu: I hope she won't be neglected again. For me Tomu is the prettiest in Team K.
• + Komiharu: Though significant drop this year sousenkyo. She can be kept on senbatsu.
• + Mizuki: It's time for 16th gen to make senbatsu. Anyone would guess it's Mizuki!

The rest can be kept.

Mako & Rika got agency support now. I hope Sayaya & Megu would get sponsor support to make senbatsu. It's Coach & Four, a retailer from Hokkaido, Sayaya's home prefecture that recruit her as PR, later the company also recruit Megu. Well, it's true that agencies & sponsors can give big impact such as making certain members senbatsu or voting them on sousenkyo.

We already see team performances every now and then

 

this whole year has been about generation performances, enough!!! lol

If anything, the anniversary is when they should happen lol

 

they did a concert for the 13th 14th and 16th gen early in the year, then there was 3rd, 4th and 9th gen anniversary special stages, then at some of the graduations like owada's, ryoka and mariko and probably more i can't remember now.
i am bitter there was no 5th gen stage tho

 

Plus unless they brought in girls who've transferred it would just be mostly solos and duets. Plus that's 15/16 groupings (depends if they put Macharin with the kennin girls or came up with something else) that's a looooong show.

And with 2nd, 6th and 8th gone (as far as I remember), it would be like a normal stage.

 

Tbh though, I always think that one (9th Gen) was really just a preview of the eventual 10th Anniversary Edition of the 9th Generation in 2019 (Since it will be a surprised if we don't get one).
