Watched the 2017 Halloween show BD last night ... quite amusing but unfortunately it was one of the disks that has been auto directed so it constantly changes which camera view it is showing in a continuous cycle (close up straight on, angle from left high, angle from right high, wide shot straight on, repeat) for the entire video no matter what is going on in the show. This is a bit annoying as you obviously miss bits which happen off the shot you are currently seeing and also it is very annoying as the wide shot straight on had noticeably worse focus and image quality.

It was a good show with nice performances but the production quality of the release could have been a lot better.

 

@sparklingbrita on Twitter posted something similar about 5 days ago (at time of writing) but also included info how Alice Projects new unit Cerisier (and their trainees) will fit into the schedule which wasn't included in your source, basically seems to fall into the guest group slots.

So the KJ Cadets & Slime girls also perform at Arearea ... From what I can see this is in Tachikawa in West Tokyo anyone know anything about seeing this (assuming it is correct)? Or for that matter the West theatre? When I was over there last time I managed Parms but I would like to go in Osaka to if possible next time.

Currently watching Erina's birthday show BD ... Frankly I don't know if I'll bother picking up these disks in the future, they are not cheap, especially with proxy shipping on top, and this auto system they have which just cycles around cameras every 5 seconds is a complete cop out for the price ... Tbh it would be better with a single fixed camera (not their current long shot one which is poor) showing the entire stage and decent tweaking of the sound levels so you don't get clipping when things (well the audience) get loud.

 

So it seems they do add another camera under manual control when Erina is on stage but it is just slotted into the same rigid camera sequence. So you miss things like 90% of the usual boat time and the stage dive (with that you get the run up and next you see is returning to the stage) .... 2/10 needs to try harder

(And I now have a headache from the out of focus long range camera being shown in the sequence every 20 seconds or so)

Coming up on December 27th, Kamen Joshi: Armor Girl center Moa Tsukino will compete in the live broadcast competition "V-Next".
A battle for supremacy among voice actors in front of a live audience that will determine the winner. From the translation, it seems like they will be required to adapt multiple character voices on the fly. Since Moa has several VO credits to her name already and a substantial fan base going in, her overall charm and charisma should be plenty of ammo to claim victory. Gooooooo Moaaaaaaa

I know the Westies are considered cadets until the "Easter Girls" upgrade, but I am surprised still that they have never streamed a show, or put up any real stage videos. It's a mystery the Kamen Joshi (West) Theater! So little actual footage of them there. And that mobile ticketing system etc. etc. I am almost tempted to buy some KJW BD's until I get to see them (maybe next year). BUT... After your recent KJ BD purchase reports, I am a bit gunshy due to robo-camera.
