    I think that would make me go a little crazy tbh lolol.

    I'm glad NMB is getting more recognition somewhere lol. IDK if this translates to more income but I hope it does cause casual viewers usually just like one girl rather than the whole group.

    Warota People is at #45 iTunes (it's been like that since furage day). It's increasing steadily according to this ->
    http://kworb.net/popjp/archive/20171227.html
    In comparison Mango started at #80+ something and NGT's Sekai wa Aozora started at #60+. I tracked both during their furage day too.

    Oh nice, thanks. I feel like digital downloads is a better indicator of how much people like the actual song (as opposed to just buying it for handshakes), particularly among young people.

    For the sake of comparison with their latest single (A YEAR AGO!)...

    Boku Igai's first day was 238,410 copies, according to Oricon.
    I think that, if 17th still sells over the 200k on the first day, it'll be acceptable.

    As for first week, Billboard reported 364,403 for 16th.
    So again, everything over 300k for this one will be great.

    Hopefully the sales aren't THAT bad, but the dip will be enough for management to step up their game.

    EDIT: lmao I didn't see this among the iTunes talk

    So they actually sold MORE than 16th having 100 less sold out slots?
    Throw away your predictions, people!

    So happy tho.
    300k should be a given.

    Yeah much better than I expected. I thought they would sell 220.000 or even less but they actually sold a little more than last time. We'll have to wait for the first week sales, but so far I can't complain. :banana:

    Warota People is such a GOOD song, people in Japan seem to enjoy it, me too, I can´t stop listening to it and smiling or just feel joyful when listening to it!
    So yep, a great song saved the sales. Yay for our nambas

    Maybe if for handshakes were reported not sold out slots, but sold out tickets, we would have been not surprised that much... seems that attendees are distributed so uniformly, that without a decrease in sales we got a decrease in slots, as they are taken at 90% or something... Good idea after all, let's give these girls longer breaks between rounds, LOL.

    It's rising up to #27 now on iTunes. This rarely happens for SG, most of the time SG releases will flop immediately after release date, but Warota is rising.
    On another news, Youtube Empress' song is at #92. Another rare case for SG (charting the main song is a struggle, let alone a coupling).
    -> http://kworb.net/popjp/

    Does Oricon count iTunes sales? Because digitals making up the lack of sales from physical would be the reason why it's selling more than Boku Igai (despite its atrocious handshake sales).

    No, because iTunes sells it piecemeal, they will only count it on iTunes (and 3 other streaming services but not including Google or Amazon) if someone buys the entire "album" off of it and not just one song.

    ======

    The performance of Warota People is a good argument against the people who overthink/overrely on handshake sold-out slots when trying to predict sales. Being a 0/21 doesn't mean NO ONE bought your tickets. It just means it didn't sell out. That's it. There's too many variables that us fans do not see or understand.

    It makes the first accountable metric on the rising female & casual fans with their spending power in NMB though. Something that only shown in popularity survey so far.
