Single SKE48 22nd [Muishiki no Iro] (2018/01/10)

I like the formations in Muishiki, as nice as Natsu yo, Isoge. I would have liked them to use their legs more in choreo because all the complicated hand moves look really unbalanced.

Love that Ryoha is the “real” center in Hanshateki, she suits these kind of songs really nice. And Yunana please keep your hair out of your face, dont pull a Techi where you have no performances that I can see your face properly.

 

I love how sharp, quick, and precise their movements are in the Muishiki no Iro theater performance. I think this is a good answer to those who are accusing SKE of just moving wildly and energetically but no precision.

Overall, the sound of this single is pretty retro incomparison with the rather upbeat and fun theme in last single.

 

So atm on wiki48 it says that Jurina is the center of the Sagami Chain Senbatsu but I think, from the looks of the PV, that it seems like it's a Jurina/Yunana wcenter?

 

Ryoha looks amazing in that Love Crescendo performance! I wonder if they'll get to perform it a lot. Also Muishiki no iro has a really good energy to me in that theatre performance

That Coyote song is 10/10. Another "should've been single" list of couplings for me.

 

I'm really enjoying the B-sides for this single (who doesn't love girls singing with a horse?) but I couldn't help but notice the Sagami Chain Senbatsu PV looks like a bunch of students made it for a school project.

After watching the full MV of Yoake no Coyote I'm pretty sure it's actually a Jurina/Dasu wcenter? The Short Ver. didn't contain the beginning or end so we didn't get to see the full formation really... it changes as well so no wonder it was confusing

 

Theater ed arrived today and the package definitely does not please the eyes as much as Igai ni Mango - the colour is a little bland, overall design is off balance. Or maybe I just like colourful palette. Anw Toyota Aichi song is as good as expected, Kosanger 7’s one is a little too generic. This is looking like those singles which look bad but sound good.

Predicting (and hoping for) sales of about 250k~300k for first week.

It's perplexing though, since they already opened the 4th round. And just like Igai ni Mango, the 3rd round HS result report was (nearly) nowhere.
Maybe this is Mumo stuff. idk

Trivia
. In the second verse of the song, the lyrics mentioned “in the dark, unsettling orange (colour) floating on the wall and ceiling”, which is pretty much SKE right now.
. The video they were all watching at the end of the MV is Mirai to wa.

I myself think that “Colour” itself is a very SKE concept. Other groups only have group/team colours and song colours, whereas SKE members have their own lightstick colours.
