1.4 seems plausible.. they have set up a tall order for the next single though,

now.. can they sell their next album 1 M? They didn't get much improvement for their album sales.. around 300-400K... maybe the next one will be their "best" album?

 

It should be more than that tbvh. With 540 tickets per slot (10 seconds each), they have 496k maximum capacity (910 slots). I dont believe that they sell 700k normal CDs even if the top 3 members only do national HS.

 

I have no doubt about them selling 300-400k normal CDs but 700k is just not realistic with the current age.

They probably oversold alot of tickets by shrinking the time per ticket to 7-8 seconds (thats 20-30% more sales) and add an estimate of huge bunch of tickets that will be thrown away as alot of fans cannot switch lanes/make it in time as usual. This goes for all 48/46 releases tbh

 

well , i dont have any idea where those 700k copies will go anyway , but in my point of view , i registered the IHS tickets , but i was also buy the A-B-C-D type too , and there's plenty of wotas also buying those regular type in purpose for collecting the photos.

regarding the non event goers or non-wota segment , i thought that in japan the cultures about buying cd was still exist , even non idol musician was still promoting their physical cd in chainstore like tsutaya / tower records ( also afaik , johny's asc groups doesnt sell their songs digitally ? ) that's make an assumption that buying cd for the non wota / non-event-goers still possible , even tho i dont think they will bought all the A-B-C-D type tho. idk about west cultures since i dont follow any western musician , but imho in japanese culture buying CD was stilll a pretty common.

 

Didn't someone say national handshakes sell some pretty good chuck of the sales? Example.. Ikoma didn't participate in individual HS sales for this single but she did in the national hs event... many fans came/bought the cds to say their goodbyes to her. and these sales can't be measured.. only management know how many copies are sold during this event, no?

the one matsumura wear in yoshimotozaka46's show is light purple outfit.
i'm not really sure, because i feel like i've seen that kind of uniform before.
