Sure, the higher the better, if we consider an instant result, but I'd rather her to make a steady (even though slow) climb than getting a one-time push, making her to rank in Senbatsu only to see her falling down the following year. In addition, I don't know how much struggle was made by her fans to put her in the Undergirls last year, so we'll have to wait to see if she can count it as the starting point this year. The prelim result was better than last year, tho.

I've never watched this show tbh. Are Higashino and Goto-san regulars? Since I saw them sat in the hinadan, I figured out they aren't MCs. Rikachan has already hinted this show is going to cause strong flamings.

Well, Rikachan has already got a couch. She has yet to get two cats, a karaoke set (great, at least he's been training) and lemon sours to substitute Sasshi's SR.

"Seishun Koukou 3-nen C-gumi"[1] started in April and 16 students with unique personalities have entered the school to date. The successful candidates aged 16 to 20 have made many friends, different from those they are accustomed in the real school.

The Owarai Natalie has conducted a round table discussion with the program's hosts-- Mapple Chougoukin[2] and Nakai Rika-- and the 13 classmates that were approved up to the 6th week, with special attention given the to friendship among the students.

Oshita Miru (Thomas) (16) / Known as "Thomas" because she resembles (?) the locomotive from "Thomas & Friends".[3]

Sato Ryo (Sato-kun) (20) / His age equals the number of years without a girlfriend. Always pays attention to cute new female candidates.

[Supplementary student] Suzuki Naru (Naru-kun) (17) / Because of his voice tone and his appearance, VIKING Kotouge[4] calls him "psychopath".

2nd week's approved students

Asai Yuhei (Asai-kun) (18) / "I want to see how a TV station is inside" was his motivation to apply. Has a suspicious behavior and gets flushed easily.

Hibino Mena (Hibino-san) (16) / A pretty girl who loves comedy and try to improve talk skill by getting advice from the program's hosts. She is the class president.

3rd week's approved students

Nakamoto Taiga (Nakamoto-kun) (17) / A central figure in the class? Has an alleged "boys' love" relation with Naru-kun.

Nishimura Ruka (Nishimura-chan) (16) / A little devil pretty girl who considers the Assistant Teacher Nakai Rika her rival.

4th week's approved students

Uyono Hinano (Uyono-chan) (16) / A bit dumb, but the sparkling smile and energy are this blond girl's charm.

Kimeda Shun (Kimeshun) (16) / The slender overalls are his trademark. He is very calm and admires his active little brother.

Muranishi Rise (Muranishi-chan / Rise-chan) (19) / She refused to go to school during the junior high and dropped out of college. Wants to change herself.

[Supplementary student] Kono Shinnosuke (Kono-kun) (18) / The first good-looking guy since the start of the program. The perfect visual boy from the countrysides of Hiroshima.

Utsugi Ayano (Obachan) (20) / She is cheerful and is always laughing. Her nickname is Obachan (Old lady / auntie) from the start.

Sato: I can't often perform myself well. I'm curious what they think about themselves.

Obachan: I was very nervous in that episode (Thursday's "Tell me, true love teacher!") I'm not good at talking about love relationship, so I was thinking of what I was going to do all the time. They asked me a question but I couldn't tell anything. I've reflected about it. I got serious once again!

Kuroda: I couldn't give the expected answer neither was I teased by giving some absurd answer. Now I think I should make more effort myself to create opportunities for me to appear.

Obachan: I like it because it's fun. I hope I can blend into the group as soon as possible. Hehehehehe! (laugh)

Ando: I think loudly laughter is good for the sake of the program.

Ando: Even though we talked about repeated characters, they're actually very distinct to one another, full of personalities.

Nakai: At this point, there are already many approved students, and it makes us feel as though the class is already complete. But on the other hand, it can also make the new candidates to feel a bit uneasy to blend into the approved students. So, we must not have fun just ourselves, but rather build a welcoming ambience for the newcomers.

(laugh) Don't you see I'm making such an effort writing it now?
