[GENERAL] The Nogizaka46 thread!

I'm not against the idea so long as it's a small generation. Nogizaka has never exceeded 46 members, and I wouldn't want it to now.

Nevertheless, after accounting for announced graduations there are 6 spaces available to bring the group back to 46 members. I don't think is an unreasonable number given that there will also be girls joining Keyakizaka from the same audition. If Keya also sticks to a 46 member hard cap (across Kanji and Hiragana) they currently have space for 5 girls bringing the total number of passes for the audition to 11- the same number as Hiragana 1st gen and one less than Nogi 3rd gen.

 

Yea but I think they saw adding third gen is what it took to get over 1 million and they don't want to fall back down again

 

OT:
I hope someone blood related to famous 1st gens would join Nogi.
Imagine the hype it would bring to 4th gens, if lets say a teenage cousin of Shiraishi or Nanase who is as pretty were to join.

 

Still give me the creeps when reminded of that incident and how "pro-active" the authorities were at the time. And just recently another stabbing spree on a bullet train. There is nothing good about stalkers, so you can't take any risk. It's only right for management to do the necessary actions to protect these girls.

Re: new Nogi members, I'd also like to have 10-12 additional members. And they definitely should take the same path as 3rd gen. Allow them to do their own thing, have their own song, have activities together. Which is fine with me. I think they've already integrated the 3rd gen girls with Senbatsu & UG so it's enough time until the introduction 4th gen. When the time come, I wish UG will be the ones to introduce the new members.

 

Every 2 years seems ideal.
But I'm quite happy if they're a little short for the moment.
Less likely that any 1st Gen's graduation will be imminent.
It's too painful a possibility to think about.

The gifts for Mayu Tomita were not unconditional, but she obviously wasn't aware of it when receiving them.
In Amachan, Haruka, Aki Amano's mum, had said that Aki and her good friend Yui would lose their privacy when they did the TV show.
Nanamaru's mum Ranko in the Hatsumori Bemars also said she thinks Nanasemaru is too meek to be an idol. It implied the hazards in their work.
I do respect these girls for being brave, not just in being able to hold big hairy spiders in their palms, but to face all these side troubles.
Many years ago, there was a report about some young female Japanese bowlers being stalked. I didn't know what to make of it, but then I saw one of them in a tournament on YouTube. She looked unusually restless and uneasy, so the saying must have been true. She was the prettiest of the lot. Shall not mention the name, but those into the sport of bowling will know who I'm talking about. Since then, everything seems to be fine, so it must have been a passing phase. Quite recently I saw her in real life.
P.S. I'm not the stalker.

I see some people commenting about having lookalikes or girls as pretty as current top members.
I understand that kind of thought but I can't agree. When it comes to beauty, of course I'd like to see pretty faces since it's Nogizaka's image of sorts. But I would like to avoid comparisons. I always think about how I lost interest in AKBINGO after most segments started to consist in "who is the next xx". Wouldn't like to see that kind of thing happening to Nogi when they leave this golden age.

 

If only they could find a Nanasemaru look alike.
Then I'll just pretend the new girl is her.

I'm actually a bit surprised that Yoda didn't make top 20. It does make me wonder how this survey was conducted overall.

Yes, same here. I only have time for the 'highlights' so to speak. I haven't even be able to see the bonus material on most singles/albums.
I also dropped Nogi Golf. I like golf and it's a nice show, but there are just too many episodes to catch up on. Currently I am catching up on Nogidoko, I am at around episode 140 or something.
