[GENERAL] THE NMB48 thread!

Unlike Nogi, I feel like it's just plain awkward to be 48 a female fan. So with Miru being the face of NMB now, management might go towards the wota route again. But then again, Yuuri is pretty popular with the female audience so who knows.

Extra question- Does anyone know if Miru has a decent female fanbase?

I think if they want to attract female fans they should make more stages or evens dedicated for them only,among other things!I didn't know for the other groups but the last time they did an all female audience was early 2016 and they didn't made many of those!I know many of them are a bit ashamed to be or wanting to be 48 fans because of their image of the type of fans they have but if showed others facet of themselves might help!
Like maybe having a tv show that are more relatable to women or having a special stage meant for women only!Did one of the group ever did a fashion event thing that was supppose to be made for female fans?Or was it Nogi?

 

Didn't Queentet have a stage where like 90% of the audience is female. Either way I think the best way to make more younger and female fans is to either do something about handshake events or make the group participate in a fashion event or high school thing. Just thinking about how awkward it is to attend a handshake event with a group full of old guys (no offense), but there must be a bunch of fans that don't go to the events because of this.

I thinking if they could have a thing where you get a higher chance getting picked or some prize for concerts if they bring a friend or is under a certain age.

Nogi fans are still mostly the typical wotas (read ex akb fans) though.

 

If the demand was there, they'd do it, they don't turn money away.

Nogizaka have done tokyo fashion week multiple times iirc I think Mayuyu and paruru have done it too

 

Queentet had a female only show just 2 months ago. NMB also regularly does female only shows and they have female only areas in all their concerts.

NMB has done Kansai collection a bunch of times. Showing up in a fashion show isn't really a big deal.

 

I guess it matters if they want to go into the fashion industry, but I'm not sure if it'll help them improve their sales.

Sayanee was at a funny intersection.
Not only she was an idol and appealed to wotas, she was also extremely talented and beautiful.
So even if you only followed for the music artistry or the looks, she was the IT girl.

NMB won't be the same without her, but it doesn't have to be.
They can reinvent themselves and try new things. Saepii has shown in Produce that she can kill it, so why not throw her a center?

October is shaping up to be quite busy for NMB.
Anniversary concerts, Asia tour (just China for now lol) and Sayanee's graduation.

So... new single in October as well?
I don't know if Sayanee will appear in another NMB senbatsu. If she does, she'll obviously center it, and I don't know how... safe that is.
But she'll obviously get a graduation song or two (solo and group?) and it has to come out relatively close to the graduation itself.

That stream was pretty cute albeit a bit awkward. I think I fell asleep the last hour and missed the part where the on-location group finally brought octopus for the takoyaki to Uuka and the others in the studio. Woke up just in time for them to talk about their day and wrap up. Has there been anything else I can watch with the 6th Gen or 3rd Draft?

 

@Raidanzoup yup, lately they are focusing more in D3 and also 6th gen. YNN to the future showed us a versus between the newest gen and draftees while puripuri campupu is a full D3 show. I think both are worth watching to know more about the new ones.
