Where do you get that "a quarter of your group" is involved in the attack?

So far as we all do know, NO member has been linked directly to the attack, yet. And stuff like your post there is what leads to all threats of violence being hurled at these girls. And regardless of what they may have or have not done, that shit is not kosher. No matter what.

inb4 "but the netizens have shown...." Internet sleuthing rarely ever gets it right. Not good evidence. And even if it was, still does not justify what is going around.

^ Looks like the first sponsorship lost for NGT48. This may just be the beginning, though...

OK, waiting for more action. If this case isn't resolved, I'm gonna make a call among international artists to boycott Fuji Rock Festival.
Fuji Rock Festival is more important to Niigata than NGT48.
Even if this festival is gonna invite CHVRCHES again like last year while this case isn't resolved and If you don't know then I'm gonna tell you that CHVRCHES vocalist, Lauren Mayberry is a radical feminist, I'd tell her about this then RIP Niigata Prefecture.

No, not the first. The first lost sponsorship was Daishi Bank, which in January 11 said they already terminated their contract with NGT and commercials airing. Ichimasa Kamaboko representatives were interviewed on the same day, saying that they were waiting for further developments and consider what appropriate measures to take.

Probably for their own safety then

They are afraid that enraged wotas gonna attack those members accused to be related to the incident.

But hey, it can actually be solved rather easily if the management can be clear on what happen and gives name of the responsible party.

A good question would be... can NGT survive without...

And anyone that’s popular with NGT... hmm

Whoah moaning on internet barely has use now.

Why don't people in Japan make a march in Niigata or even if it's necessary, making a riot there.

I never heard there was a case of injustice solved by fucking change.org but I can give many examples of cases of injustice solved by real acts in real life and even some involving riots, chaos, disorder, & anarchy.

A reference from any movie? V For Vendetta!

Well, I'm sorry again because I posted here what I often post on Twitter and sorry again for being a provocator.

I'm very skeptical of such things too, but in this case I don't think it hurts. A lot of the international news articles about the situation mention the change.org petition, and (if it's real) the SKE management statement is particularly concerned about the stories appearing in the international media. With the Olympics coming, Japanese companies and the government in general are noticeably more concerned with their international image (NHK has shows devoted to how they're fixing up Tokyo for international visitors, the AKS photobook changes, etc.). So it may not accomplish anything, but it may also be one thing that international fans can do that makes the story just slightly more newsworthy for western press.

Edit: I should also say this is a situation where more violence isn't going to help anyone. The problem is a traumatized young woman, a handful of people that should be charged with assault and battery, some bullies, and corrupt management - we're not trying to overthrow a government.

NGT48 will still be taking part in the Tokamaki Snow Festival next month. No word yet on which members will attend. It looks like they were previously scheduled to perform on 2/16 at 17:00, not sure if that is still the case.
