Best AKB48 Costumes!! [Which Are Your Favorites?]

Oh! a finally Costume Thread! I always like their costumes, especially where they look similar from distance, giving a sense of uniformity, but looking closely the details are different for each one of them, like on the belt, sleeve, shoulder, tie, or neck parts
As for long time favorites, I like the red tartan uniform variation of 2011 (?)


and also the Beginner jacket with hood :


My biased favorite is Team 8 2016 Winter costume, the white coat is just very nice and elegant in my opinion.

A few misses among the 30s(?) but overall really aesthetically pleasing to the eye

When worn, they look really fluffy and warm and pretty


The dresses are very everyday looking (in a good way) and the designated dresses for the members even match them so bonus points


The 2013 profile dresses are adorable too except I’m not that big of a fan of the skirts. Especially the senbatsu member ones.

There is this one costume I’m obsessed over. It appeared on Takamina’s graduation if I remember correctly. All the groups had similar styles but in different pastel colors. It’s like a floral dress with a white vest blazer kinda thing. Some of the sleeves are thin see through puffed ruffles.

 

I like this uniform, so classy and fabulous. You can't really go wrong with the classic black and white.

I also like their outfit from Kibouteki Refrain and Iiwake Maybe

 

Isn't Iiwake Maybe uniform is what ori member successor wore in AKB0048? That, for me is a legend.

2. SKE48 I almost became a Yuna oshi lel.
3. NMB48 I had no idea so I put this.
4. HKT48 indeed looks like 22/7 but this is the group's the best.

7. JKT48 maybe I'm biased but this outfit influenced by Inuit tribal oufit or outfit of waterbender from Avatar (Nickelodeon) is the best outfit of ALL48 for me. Credit: @RDNADN

9. MNL48 best outfit for a debut single.

YES!!! I really like it when they do that. First off I love frilly tartan. But when they do slightly different for all gens it was amazing

BTW JKT48 Haiten costume & MV are powered by Toei. One of Japan's top film maker recently opened a branch in Indonesia, the 3rd aboard after China & Hongkong.
