omg..im soo freaking happy because..this is literally one of the best model-like pictures nogi has put. i thought the cover on influencer or i forgot which one wherr they did the cover like a magazine photoshoot is the best but this promo pictures is better.totally should be put on the cover. anyway, why we need maiyan biggest picture when we can see her everywhere and yeah, besides gorgeous ikuta and momoko, maiyan is really stunning here. and asuka really needs the biggest one because she is the new face. anyway, everyone looks so beautiful on that. arghhh. im crazy for these girls..

 

Position and frame size does speak volume. At first I was just interested who's in the middle, a clue for Senbatsu center. Then I notice the frame size, I don't think it justify group prominence. It's a bit insulting for many members if viewed that way. Maiyan's very obvious. Perhaps they went for random sizes though I doubt it. Girls are all gorgeous btw...

RE: Promo picture member sizes...

My thoughts on this is that I think this is how management sees the formation shaping up for the future. I am glad that Ikuta's picture is one of the largest, and I'm sad that Maiyan is not so much though still front and center. They've been preparing us for the time when she isn't in the group for so long that it's hard to imagine. These pictures make that explicit. We are going into the future where Maiyan is diminished. So far we are in the post-Nanase era. For me, Maiyan was in opposition to Nanase -- forever defining the 2 Aces of Nogizaka. It looks like they picked Ikuta to be in opposition to Asuka as the next 2 Aces. Yamashita v. Yoda for the future 2 Aces.

For me, the songs so far have been disappointing. I really want all the extras on the BluRay, but it's getting tough to decide to buy the physical album.

It is not a bad tune, but the song is too predictable for my taste.

I start to get a bit worried. I heard 5 new songs, only 1 caught my interest so far. I hope some of them will grow on me when we have the final versions, and that the remaining songs will blow me away.

The song with Hori is just right for the trio.
4th gen song is cute? Innocent? Fits the fresh image of the group.
This Senbatsu song, yeah it's predictable. The tune is nothing I haven't heard before. Misa I thought is ok but could have given her a better song.
Ikuta-Capt-Kubo is the song I listened to the most, of course. Not the type I prefer for a great vocal group but the song I can only imagine, gonna be wild when performed live.
Nothing stands out for me. Though few of them are the kind I tend to like more after a while. Type of songs I listen to from time to time.
I look forward to the Zambi group. Something dark, maybe? No?
But the other two remaining for sure I'm gonna pass on it.

Maybe I'm the only one who don't like Arigachi na Renai. As the main song it's kinda forgetable.
It started off well but the chorus is the weakest point. As it repeats till the end it's just become boring.

 

How would you rank this album so far compared to the previous three albums? I think the second album is still my favourite, it also got a Nogidan song.

 

I love the covers! Nogi or at least the 46 group is breaking what a typical looks like. By say, every album doesn't require them to have their members in it just like any other artists. The concept is so well-done for me.

I've listened to few songs and I like the lead title. It gives me Kikkae feels.

Hope it sells well.
