the starting was about graduation(as it is the season in Japan) and then getting Maaya back in the show. no mention of Yuttan's grad though, maybe at the time of the recording, they decide not to reveal it, but I'm sure the producers would have known to an extent. Sensei asked the question whether Yuttan was good friends with the guys at her high school, she said yes before Suzuki stopping sensei's question(NG due to her being an idol lol).
Maaya's interview was hilarious. but the fact that the rest are able to go down to her English level(there's quite some noticeable gap in level) to answer the quiz about her interview was even more hilarious . Hinachi answering "Sausage Play" is NG due to the meaning behind it lol, and she got so embarrassed .
The last segments game, nearly cleared if they weren't disqualified on one of the questions lol. but what's the fun of clearing , variety wise, we want punishment game(which took them more than 10 mins until Hinachi stepped in to replace Maichun holding the cup)

 

the next episode already have a preview page. looks like no mention of Yuttan's grad. probably recorded at the same time as the previous episode. maybe only in May's episode .
the homework this time is to talk about something they recently started to do. the English game at the end is a 2 vs 2 , looks like Maichun partnering Maaya(because the description of Maichun nicely backing-up/following-up Maaya)

they did more stuffs this time. Hinachi and Maaya talked about things they started recently. then all of them challenged some situations that may happen abroad. followed by a drawing game.
also Nick spoke a little more Japanese this time , 3-4 lines of it.

 

as demanded by fans, Yuttan grad party in NogiEigo ! as predicted , it will also be the last episode for her sadly. instead of Nick, it seems to be Adam again this time.

Yuttan cooked up a meal. but from here onwards, you can see that she still not able to understand many of the words spoken to her by Adam. and Ikura = Tuna's children lol
She guessed correctly 3 out of 4 presents, with Maaya's present a lucky one lol(watch it to know why). all in all, happy ending
Den chan is the new member next month onwards. they are still wearing the previous uniform so probably pre-recorded much earlier

Den-chan took the university entrance exam ? Maichun as usual has her grammar wrong like the rest , but demonstrated some better vocabulary like "sunny side up" instead of the direct translation "eye egg" that Den-chan was saying.
Hinachi said some NG word that had to be censored on TV lol. and called Adam crazy for not being able to see the "ghost"(Maaya) .
There will be a new corner(called a big project). "Maaya on the way to taking Eiken Grade 2" supported by Yasukochi sensei. with Maichun giving the suggestion of taking advantage of it and getting everyone else to take Grade 3, with Hinachi quipping that hopefully her schedule permits it lol.

 

I really want to know what Chima said. The whole situation was gold though.

 

Since when is Adam on Nogieigo? Guy also was a guest in the recent AKB Youtube videos where Yukirin invited members to play games against each other.

 

He appeared twice before. Once a few episodes back and the previous one yuttan’s grad which probably was recorded the same day

preview of #39 is out. Hinachi fans probably will be disappointed to know that she is absent, maybe due to her stage play schedule which made her miss both Nagoya and Fukuoka concert legs as well. But it will be the 1st appearance of a 4th gen in NogiEigo. Hayakawa Seira appears in this nogieigo. will be interesting to know their individual levels besides Kitagawa Yuri and Seimiya Rei .
from the preview, it seems she was nervous at first , but then during the English game(which seem to have developed into a psychological battle), she targeted her seniors.

episode 40 sees Tamura Mayu(which we know is not good at English from Gakutabi) appearing as guest. And Maichun introduced her as a good match for Maaya, lol .

started off with Seira wishing her senpais Ohayou gozaimasu instead of facing the camera , lol . but Seira actually looked like she grew into it and had fun. surprisingly(from this episode), she's actually not too bad in her English and later we got to know she's one of those who taught Maaya(who also described 4th gen has quite a few members who are good in English, prob due to KitaYuri and Rei partially) for Maaya's Eiken level 4 exam, and she herself holds an Eiken level 3(like Yuttan) . Hinachi appears in VTR for announcement of Maaya's result. during the card game which is actually an altered Liar game, she actually "Doubted" her senpais almost at every chance. and we get to see Den-chan at her first Nogieigo punishment game. I think she's one of the crazy ones while being embarrassed. from the next episode 40 preview, there seems to be more of her 'high tension' stuffs.

 

It's been a while since last time I watched NogiEigo. Almost forgot how fun this show is. And this episode is so much fun to watch. Nice to see Maaya still part of this show. Seira is simply natural. I never get tired watching her.

 

Be sure to catch last months episode as well. Maaya's ghost act was too funny.

Heck, watch all you have missed. Every episode is a gem. I love this show.

Watched it. Mayu started off ok with her introduction that sensei thought 4th gens are very good in English, until she was brought down to earth by Maichun and Maaya(who described Mayu as her offshoot) lol. then, her etude challenge was also really bad. Higuchi appeared in VTR trying out the Siri voice game , no less with the same electrical shock punishment game. i think the game was longer but segments of it was cut out from the recording. hopefully there will be an episode of unaired scenes from this and last episode. And for the last segment, you would have noticed that the subs at the bottom would have "mistranslated" cord as code.

I thought the previous episode was one of the lesser interesting episodes, so this episode for me was way lot better. its back to 4 regulars with the return of Hinachi. and Suzuki admits that his English skills are really bad after mistaken Maichun's "work" as "walk"(which actually really sounded like "walk"). Nick's not around again so its Ike this time . Maichun's "Devil is Prada" when it should be "Devil Wears Prada". Hinachi's etude challenge was pretty funny. The "Guess which member" game after 1 round changed to inviting the audience to think as well, which i enjoyed. And the final game , guessing which Japanese words are included in the English dictionary at least once. Denchan's 3rd punishment game in a row which I feel was more like a chance for her to appeal to fans lol.
