Story about J-WAVE INNOVATION WORLD FESTA 2019, but really an interview of Yukirin. Ask AKB48, Yuki Kashiwagi! What is the “too big mountain” that I first got over after becoming an idol? 2019 (Sunday). Inofes is an event organized by J-WAVE (81.3FM). Talk sessions by celebrities who innovate in various fields and live performances incorporating technology will be held at Roppongi Hills for two days, 28th (Sat) and 29th (Sun). AKB48 will also collaborate with creators from various fields and show off this day-only entertainment show using technology. This time, in “J-WAVE NEWS”, I interviewed Yuki Kashiwagi of AKB48, one of the Inofesu selection members. She joined the group as a 3rd generation member, and this year marks the 12th anniversary of her debut. Currently the oldest member. In the first part of the interview, I looked back on her idol life. What is the “big mountain” that we got over just after joining? And how did she feel off her seniors, graduates, and juniors who graduate? -How do you think the “idol” has changed between when you first entered AKB48 and now? Kashiwagi : AKB48 is based on the concept of “idols that you can go to meet,” and there are theaters and handshake events, so I think I've come to feel that idols are familiar. I think that the number of tools that can appeal to you, such as SNS, is increasing rather than mass media such as TV. -What changes did you have? Kashiwagi : I originally loved singing and dancing and auditioned with the feeling of “I want to stand on the stage!” And entered AKB48, so the first few years said, “This dream has come true, this too I was able to do it! " Now that I've been working for more than 10 years, there are fans who support me, so the way of thinking has changed: "I want to do something for people rather than myself." ――I think you've spent your busy days, but what is the memory of "this was hard"? Kashiwagi : I felt like I didn't have time to notice that I was busy or not. Anyway, do my best to do the things in front of me. So, when it comes to difficult memories ... it's about the time when I entered. When I haven't made a stage debut at the AKB48 theater yet, I was entrusted with the big role of going on a national tour in place of Yuko Oshima (* 2007 "A little bit of national tour in spring"). I learned about 20 songs of my senior performance by watching the DVD, but it was harder than ever before. Because of that experience, is it possible to get over even if there is a serious problem now? It was the first mountain that was too big. The feeling of seeing off the graduation of members-Many members have graduated over the past 10 years. Kashiwagi: When I see off my seniors, I have the feeling of “I ’m sad” and “I have to do my best”. I came to think of "Who will I see off?" In the position of sending a junior or a junior. Recently, I'm not particular about graduation, so I'm happy to be in a position to see it off. I wish I could see it off brightly. Sasshi (* Rino Sashihara Graduated in the spring of 2019) and Mayu Watanabe (* Graduated at the end of 2017), I thought that I was glad that I was able to see off the closest. [second part still to come: In the second part of the interview, we interviewed “Technology x Idol”. We ask about virtual idol, the technology we want to incorporate in live performance, and the enthusiasm for Innofest. Release will be around 12:00 on Monday, 26th. Kashiwagi also appeared on J-WAVE “INNOVATION WORLD” on Friday, 20: 00-22: 00. Talking about "Idol theory" and "AKB48-likeness". Appearance starts around 20:25. ] https://www.j-wave.co.jp/blog/news/2019/08/akb48-2.html

Yukirin rank 3rd (14.3%) in Merumo ranking for most popular AKB members among girls survey.. https://news.merumo.ne.jp/article/genre/8960578
I actually find it funny lol. I mean, Yukirin is definitely one of the most recognisable 48G members, but on the other hand, I think it's amazing that the guy was trying to scout het at her current age
When she was still called Kito Momona, they all work under AKS, the same agency though. If not for that Tegoshi Yuya scandal, may be they are still here together. I really wish that Johnny's crap to rot in hell.
I stumbled across this image of Yukirin and there seems to be 2 versions of it Which one is the real one? Her cleavage looks different in each of the two images...the one on the right was found on a Japanese website whilst the one of the left was found on Google images. Could the one on the left have been photoshopped? She's making the same face so it couldn't have been 2 different angles. It just bugs me so sorry if this thread is annoying to y'all Mod edit: oversized image removed
