FUCK! Why'd you have to remind me of that. This is sad.

 

It's at Yokohama Arena/Stadium, not the theater, so it is a real grad concert. You bet we'll get some of the original Kami7 back for that, no3b for sure.

 

There it is, finally, Generation 1's chapter is drawing to a close.

 

at least now people will stop saying 'so when is minegishi gonna graduate' whenever any member announces...

My suspicions are that she's gonna get a graduation ceremony at next year's annual Spring Concert, like Kojimako got. She avoided using the word concert in her announcement speech, and her tweet reads "4月2日は横浜アリーナでコンサート" (Concert in Yokohama Arena on 2nd of April). She doesn't call it a graduation concert.

As for who'll appear, I'm not sure how close she was with Original Team A 'Kami 7' (Acchan, Mariko, Takamina, Kojiharu, Tomochin). I think Takamina and Kojiharu will most definitely make an appearance, but other than that I don't know. Before Acchan, Mariko and Tomochin, I expect Mako and Miki to show up. Apparently Mako went to Akihabara when she heard of Miichan's graduation. It would be fairly soon after her own graduation, but it's Miichan after all.

Especially if it's just a ceremony tagged into a concert, I assume it'll be those 4 graduates.

P.S. SKE48's Takayanagi Akane is also graduating in April 2020, which strengthens my believe that it's a concert (probably also more than 1 day) where they'll add grad ceremonies onto it.

The answer is very. She has showed up for Acchan and Mariko's weddings and still hangs out with Mamacchan to this day, she has always been close with the original Kami7. Tomochin is a harder one to catch since she hasn't showed up in grad concerts for a while as far as I know, but she and Miichan were some of the 1st gen babies so I'll pray she comes. Out of them all, no3b will be front and center.

I expect some second gen babies to show up, and Kitarie and Sasshi will definitely come. She deserves no less than her dearest friends to catch her at the landing

 

It has been years since I posted here on S48 and it has been years since I've been an idol fan (only returning very recently) but I figure this is an appropriate time to post again. Miichan was my very first oshimen and one of the members that made me a fan of AKB48 all those years ago. So to see this day come, no matter how expected, it still holds a very bittersweet feeling. As many have said, this is an end of an era, the final chapter of the original pioneers of AKB. Miichan has grown so much in the past years since joining and has become someone the new generation can look up to. But all throughout she has remained witty and funny and always a joy to watch on show and on stage

So I just want to say, thank you Miichan for your 14 years of hard work and congratulations on your graduation!

 

I just had a thought, you think we'll get the Bad Boys as a special guest at her concert?

 

and here I was thinking her and Yukirin had made a pact to stay in AKB48 forever lol .

But in all seriousness, Will miss one of the most entertaining members AKB48 has ever had. She went thru a lot during her time in AKB48 and she showed how strong of a person she is.

Nothing but respect for Miichan. You deserve this, Hell of 14 years you've had.

I also love how Kojimako put it: "It's Miichan's turn to wear the dress". It will be a gorgeous dress, indeed.
It will be one hell of a concert (and final theater stage too). I hope for a grand 1st gen reunion. No eyes will be dry, for sure.
