Abby will appear in MOSHI MOSHI HOKKAIDO on TV5 together with one of the HHE producers Ya Chang (shown in pics below).

The show will have 10 (5 minute) episodes airing from 10:00 pm to 10:05 from July 29 - August 09, 2019 with REPLAY Dates at 8:00 am to 8:05 am from August 05 - August 16.

This was the Sela "travel shoot" spill during one of the live episodes (Episode 29) where they posted pictures of her in Japan before the Seikimatsu Blue Movie shoot photos.

STORY
MOSHI MOSHI HOKKAIDO is a travel variety show where Japanese actor and comedian Ya Chang goes around Hokkaido as a tourist with MNL48 member Abby. They will visit Kita Kita filming locations, meet the locals, and discover the breathtaking views, excellent food, and the warm hearts of the people of Hokkaido.

Yesterday was earlier than posted on the channel's TV schedule (9:45PM) so you could expect the same for those who will be watching the telecast/video stream.

This move to TV5 (and PAL sponsor?) is really a good thing since it tends to show that they really want to push it and make it some way to TV shows again and to a broader audience. Good to know that somehow they are not tied to the other channel. It's not much but I think it's a good start or come back and we hope to see other members or the whole group as well.

Just finished 3 eps of "Moshi Moshi Hokkaido". Abby is doing a really great job with these overseas jobs. I heard she got along well with BKK's Cherprang in Shanghai. She's also a good co-host in "Moshi Moshi" along with YaChang. I was expecting a Japanese/English AntaRoke type travel show. I was stunned YaChang who is Japanese just started spewing tagalog words, He's like a Japanese Sandara Park(Korean fluent in tagalog).

Anyway, Abby and YaChang have good chemistry. On eps3, a bunch of Japanese tourists commented "Kawaii" while passing by, YaChang says "Gee, I wonder who they're referring to as Kawaii". Fun show, reminds me of Team 8's AntaRoke.

 

I agree and Ya Chang is a perfect go to guy to co-host any MNL48 show. There's also Kazuki Tanaka (Teacher Kazu) to consider and perhaps the rest of his manzai trio HPN3 would be a nice addition to mix and match for variety.

If ever they would come up a similar AKBingo type show, for me it's a no brainer to cast these comedians as their MCs.

I'm currently traveling to visit family in the Philippines, but if Abby's recent IG stories are correct, then for ONE BEAUTIFUL MOMENT, I was in the same airport as Abby. Just missed her...but still.

ABSS-CBN wrote an article for Abby's performance on the Uta Gassen.

 

Finally! that day came.. she got to meet and performed beside her senpai and AKB/NMB doppelgänger Mirurun.

Same height, same age, same facial structure, same body built and arguably same personality. I am also a big fan of those NMB shows I know.

I always thought there's some resemblance there, especially when they smile and both do those wacky or funny faces.

I would love to see some shots of just them two (hopefully). They could easily be mistaken as sisters or relative.
