Ume is getting a photobook (well deserved!). That leaves Kubo and Momoko from the 3ki top members without a photobook. I wonder if there are any plans for Momoko to release one. It would be interesting to see because I can't really imagine her taking risque/sexy photos.

 

Maybe in a few years.

 

I could see her getting one (and soon- like miwa said there aren't a ton of top 3kis left that don't have one) that is less sexually suggestive than some other sakamichi photobooks. As a momo fan I personally don't want to see her in super sexy outfits anyway.

 

Momoko loves reading Photobooks based on her reaction on Maiyan and Manatsu's PB . I believe she would get one but probably nxt yr 2021 , a lil bit like Asuka 1st PB shio sai .

I would have expected a pb this year tbh had the virus not thrown anything off.

Though Momo can get around it-I'd love a pb set in kagoshima for her. IMO her showing off her love for her home prefecture would be more interesting than going to some exotic locale.

 

Yep, I think plans for photobooks will have to be delayed because of corona and usually photobooks are shot overseas (idk when Ume shot it though). Momoko could do one in Kagoshima, why not? Just like Neru did in Nagasaki.

Yea pretty much reiterating what's said before ^ I think Momoko/Kubo would have had a high chance of a PB this year, but the pandemic probably kept them from doing it (but even then, there is definitely a chance that we could still see a release before the end of the year-- I think I read that Ume shot hers in January, so maybe someone else has a PB in the vault and got it delayed a bit because of possible low sales during the pandemic).

If we look at the rates of PBs from current members from the past two years, it's been abnormally low with last year only having 3(!!) new Nogi photo albums (although in exchange Keyaki/Hiragana got 5 plus the Hinata group PB). And this year, Nogi has been the only group with member PBs with 6 (including Umechan's) so it's already better than last years despite there being a few months left. By the way, 2017 was the biggest year for Nogi PBs with a whopping 11 releases, 5 of them in being in November-December so who knows Sony may just drop a bunch on us during the holiday season.

Also I do think the point of Momoko being a bit hesitant about doing a photobook due to the risque stuff is a valid one. Especially considering how steamy the releases from this past year have been, but I think something like Asuka's PB or Nanase's 2nd PB would be a lot more manageable- like more scenic shots? It's funny cause I feel like before Passport we usually only got like a handful of bikini shots (Ikuchan's 1st I think only had 5 pages of bikini iirc?), but now we have bikini, white lingerie, black lingerie, etc. It makes sense considering what a wild success Passport and Intermission was, but I don't mind if some of the girls had some more mild releases again. Maimai's 1st PB is still my personal favorite, and I think Momoko would suit a PB like that set in Japan rather than another one in Europe.

 

Momoko loves England tho , there's a high chance she wants her PB to be shot at that location .
