AKB48 Subunit - No Sleeves (no3b)

According to the other wiki. Epic ... which is a Sony sublabel (you would expect a King records sublabel, but it almost looks like No3b seems to be co-owned by AKS and Ogi Pro, they are still listed on Ogi Pro's site iirc)

the website has been updated as well to reflect that they are now on Spotify, Apple Music, LINE Music ans Amazon Music

 

In a way this is kinda weird, as no3b was one of the more successful subunits, and you would have expected for AKS to retain control (at least for some level).

The 10th anniversary was completely run by M&S (Ogi Pro)


anyway ... no obstacles for a reunion tour with a new single in 2028 then

 

I have three CDs; all say Epic on the label. Also, you can find CDs on Amazon Japan. For example, Lie is listed as

was looking up the Ogi Pro website, and found a press release about Kahala Tomomi

when you look at her Wikipedia entry you see rumours of substance abuse and that Ogi Pro fired her in 2007 due to 'repeated personal problems affected her professional appearances'
It seems very unusual for a Japanese company to re-hire someone after something like that (look at poor Togasaki, who is obviously ostracised)
They also signed Goo Hara of KARA after her suicide attempt, who sadly took her own life only shortly after

they also don't have that many signed artists, somehow they don't seem to be a run of the mill agency
(btw, Nyan-nyan is no longer listed on the main Production Ogi site, Takamina is, together with Miichan and no3b .... ow ... and fresh lemon , that was the info I was looking for)

 

not really weird ... M&S is a sub agency of Production Ogi ... Miichan and Takamina are signed by Ogi Pro and Nyan-Nyan seems to have transfered to M&S (it was presented as her and Takamina's agency (as in managing) after all)

euh ... is that true? I need to check that, I know Miion and Renachi where there, as well as Miki-chan

it's kinda awesome that they got the president of Production Ogi to do a sketch, and that they managed to sell out a concert after being inactive for so long

not that I'm aware of .... I did a quick google search, but I can't find a DVD or Blu Ray release
but it's available to watch online

 

to be honest, no one really expects anything new from them .... I took it as a declaration of staying best friends forever ...

but there might of course be a 15th or 20th anniversary performance someday

 

It's funny and amazing, the amount of fans No3b still has ...
I hope they have more time in their schedules to hang out together

imho if you look at that segment in Miichan's last theatre performance YT video it perfectly summarises their friendship ... they make each other happy

I can totally see them performing together somewhere on a street with just a few spectators as in the ending of Mendol Ikemen .... and enjoying the hell out of it
