Graduation announcements thread

There are so many graduations for NMB lately, what's going on? :/ This one is the most surprising though, I didn't think Aayan would graduate so young. NMB feels like they're becoming similar to SKE where the new pushed girls graduate, but less worse (it really happened too often in SKE). I felt before that Fuuchan and Yuuri graduated a bit early too (I checked and yes they were 21 and 20 when graduating but it still felt too early for them). Aayan is only 18 years old. it's sad to see her go... Not sure what are her reasons but with the lack of activities in 48G, I'm not surprised that some girls prefer to graduate, although NMB is in a better situation than other sister groups when it comes to activities (they actually get to perform their new singles on TV...) but yes overall NMB and 48G do much less than years ago. No idea if that's the reason for her (or one of the reasons) but anyway this graduation is really unexpected ._.

 

She also annouced retirement because she wants to study to become a nurse

 

Oh wow that's even more surprising :O No wonder she's graduating at 18 then, if it's about studies. I hope she can achieve her new goals, good luck Aayan!

 

Clearly the only solution to this crisis is someone whose name (or nickname) is a multiple of 345.

 

Oh my bad. I didn't pay enough attention, I guess, I was thinking of 755 (the other social media platform that is becoming/has become obsolete now). I thought it was saying Aayan had announced her graduation on there, but only from cosplay.

This is pure speculation of course but I wondered whether NMB48 reduced their pay? NMB48 definitely had more activities than the other groups, but probably still less than usual. Maybe it's not worth it any longer.

Once I understood it was Cocona, it also made sense why it was 557 Had it been 345 (lol) or 31chan, I would have gotten the joke

Hello, @shining445, you forgot about Kataoka Narumi. She announced her graduation in 2019, was supposed to graduate in 2020 but she is still a SKE, right now.
I didn't noticed any others mistakes. Thank you for your hard work on this list

You're right, thank you. I missed her. I will edit the post I wondered if she had graduated on December 31st but I haven't seen any news regarding that.
And you're welcome, I do it so I can see the members and learn their names/faces especially if they are younger members, and then I track it in case someone is away from idol news and misses an announcement.

For those who don't know DEL48 is on an indefinite hiatus as their activities were halted by COVID-19 pandemic.
Also, JKT48 has been having financial difficulties even before the pandemic, but now they are hurting. A number of members' graduations are being rushed. 10th gen (or Academy Class B) were dismissed as the remaining members are being reorganized.
JKT's Team T disbanded but was reformed. I did not count anything though, besides the one Team T member here.

I counted Team SH and Team TP as a part of AKB in my above post. I don't think any members of CGM48 graduated this year. I hope I have everything okay lol

This makes me quite sad. I never really got into Keyaki/Sakura, but I always silently cheered on her. I had a Japanese tandem partner for improving my language skills and she went to school with Riko, so she was the only idol I ever felt like I had some kind of connection to – it's like basically nothing, but I still always thought it was super cool.

 

Yahagi graduated this year?? Somehow feels like that was 5 years ago

JKT48 will reconstruct group after losses due to COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, and as a result, they have to cut members and staff.
