Event / Concert Ouchi de Members Request Hour 2021 (2021/01/22 - 2021/01/24)

This event is taking place as replacement for the Tokyo Dome City Hall concerts that are canceled because of corona

The members wanted to do something for their fans, so they imagined something to do.
This is a new form of the traditional Request hour setlist best concerts that happened every year in the past.

In this performance, the format is changed from the usual "request hour", and the songs are decided by the members themselves, instead of fan voting.
They will announce the songs that you are fond of and the songs that you want to hear because it is now, from their homes.

What I think should also be mentioned is that the livestream will be available for free. AKB48 also states in the blog post that it will be live only, you won't be able to watch it afterwards – at least not on this channel. I'm sure people will screen record it, but if you've got time that weekend, make sure you catch them live.

I know I won’t be able to watch the team k part but i’ll sneak to the bathroom during work for it

 

I am also most excited for the Team K concert, which will be at 4am my time I'm looking forward to the Team A concert now, it's in 2 hours and I'm able to watch it from home (I'm on standby for work for another hour but since the shift already started and nobody called, I'm assuming they've got enough staff).

I think this might actually be my first event that I am live streaming legally. I'm usually always only catching up with stuff, so I'm hyped

 

I don't know if they've changed the time retroactively but apparently the Team A concert starts at 19, not 18. Still one more hour

I'm personally surprise there was no Aitakatta or Sakura no Hanabiratachi but I can imagine they might be tired of performing them lol

They should've performed Sakura no Hanabiratachi as encore song IMO.
Anyway, the 17live platform is pretty bad. On the android app, I can't even barely run the stream for a few seconds before it buffering (or not) endlessly.
I don't have much trouble streaming on PC though, hmm. And then the damn comment section is so small and littered with broadcast info.
Not to mention the occasional irrelevant other broadcaster info flying in on the damn center of the live view. God, please go back to SR.

That said, it's still an enjoyable show though

 

I also thought it was incredibly annoying whenever comments were flying across the screen, especially because some people wrote extremely lengthy (spammy) comments that were just "OKABE TEAM A" and a million hearts... like we get it, we all support Team A

I didn't have any problems streaming the "concert" on my laptop, I have no idea what it'd be like on mobile... I thought it was a good idea that they played recordings of the songs because you could tell that there was absolutely nothing in sync They tried their best though and I know from personal experience that, if you're on the phone or video call with someone, they receive the audio later than yourself.

I know Maeda Ayaka mentioned her graduation in the intro of Yuuhi wo Miteiru ka? but I didn't understand what she said. If anyone else with better Japanese listening skills could figure it out, I'd appreciate it lots ^^
