    The news was simply the announcement of gradcon dates for Churi (4/10) and Jurina (4/11, 2 shows) in Nagoya. Details of each event have been posted on the SKE48 Official Website:

    If you read the Jurina night gradcon title, it seems to hint about something will happen after her graduation. Maybe they will go big and start the rebranding there?

    Isn't the venue way too small for Jurina? The capacity will be reduced too...:cry2:

    Depending on whether the current rule stays or not, but current events are limited to 50% or 5000 attendees max. So even if they want to do it in a larger venue, it is going to be 5000 max. Of course in April the rules might change, but as it is right now, I think it is a good choice. A slightly bigger venue would be ideal since I don't think you can pack 5000 people in Nippon Gaishi Hall after removing the seats behind the stage. It is probably going to be around 4K max. But still they don't really lose out that much and probably save a lot of money in the process.

    Iirc before the postponement J's gradcon was also to be held at Gaishi-Hall. It's the same place where for example Masana and Sae graduated and I think J said that she was fine with that venue because it has also some history with SKE

    EntaMega has just published an article about the choice of the venue:

    Using Google Translate it seems that Jurina says that Nagoya Dome was her first choice but staff persuaded her to have the shows at the Gaishi Hall so that more people could attend because they could have two shows there. "However, the capacity of Japan Gaishi Hall is about 10,000, and it can accommodate 20,000 people in two performances, so it seems to be enough for a graduation concert." The article also seems to say that it had to be tied in with Churi's gradcon which couldn't be delayed any longer.
