I always wondered why in the documentary 'The time hsa come' how it is Miichan and Mako-chan are in the Mae Shika Mukanee costumes while the rest of Team 4 is in their Team Zaka constumes.
Especially as you can see the senbatsu for Mae Shika Mukanee waiting in the wings when Team 4 goes on for Team Zaka, so there was no song between them ...

well, the solution is kinda simple (just had the change to see the 2014 request hour), there's an MC by Team 4 minus Miichan and Moko-chan prior to Mae Shika Mukanee
(it clicked when I saw the MC and thought, an MC without Miichan ... that's weird .... ow wait ... now i get it ....... must have been pretty hectic back stage for Miichan and Mako-chan)

Still, when they got 1st place with Seijun Philosopy ... happiest Team ever
(when they went from the main stage to the middle stage, Miichan first leading her side, then dropping back to hug/talk to each member .... she looks/acts like a kindergarden teacher (or mum) )

About our American super fan suffering from major cognitive dissonance .... this seems to be one of the few times he is able to decide between fiction and reality, he responded to the announcement post with "Bae go get them girl I love you" (punctuation is obviously not a forte as well) (but people argue he just didn't understood what the announcement said)

I think Miichan is relieved her Limbo is about to end after more then a year


But I do feel for the foreign fans who will not be able to attend
(I would have been on vacation in Japan just prior to this (and might have tried to extend my stay if I would have been able to get tickets), but we had to postpone for a second time, vaccination is slow as molasses here in the Netherlands and Japan, wisely, keep it's borders closed)

I'm not sure how they are going to do this, I doubt they'll fill it to capacity as even though the pandemic isn't as nearly bad in Japan, it's still there, and vaccination is slow there as well (but much, much less cases))

btw, this is the venue ...

it opened in June last year, so I doubt it has seen many concerts yet.

Well 1st gen Minamis are still the best Minamis imho

I'm glad for Miichan, I think she's ready for life after AKB .... I must add, in spite of everything 2020 was a good year for Miichan, maybe one of the better ones, she finally got the attention (and respect) she craved (and imho deserved) for so long.

but reading about people who can't attend makes me sad ... last year someone already had her tickets and her flight booked when Japan shut its borders .... and today she tweeted she was sad as she really wanted to attend a concert with Miichan after having her as her oshimen for 11 years.
that, and someone who tweeted he/she would not be able to attend do to concerns about his/her health and corona, that makes me sad ... (and yeah, I'm kinda sad I've never had the chance to attend a theater performance with Miichan or this concert either)

 

well, I'll gladly shell out the insane amount of cash you need if should they release it on BlueRay ....

In a way I'm not really surprised she picked Miion, but I can't really explain why, but without it showing all that much they do seem to be close and Miion seems to adore Miichan.

I think we all sometimes have those periods when we don't feel 'senang' but we don't really can put a finger on why that is.
I did seem like Miichan was really happy with finally having a date for her graduation concert, she really shined during the latest TV performance.
