just watched the final episode of Borderless which brought a conclusion to Sakura's story.
and epilogue every other characters too.
other than some minor plot holes in episode 8 and 9, for me, this drama went quite well .

Are they going to sing a new song, a collaboration song?

 

yeah "dream senbatsu", the one of my dreams, with only top tier/popular/selected members and no fillers allowed, as the 46 official group should be. Looking for it and I hope in the near future we're gonna have kennin members from other sakamichi groups in Nogizaka, and we start to have a mass graduation of unnecessary members.

 

I haven't been able to find any other information about it yet. My guess is it will be an old song, but it would be great if they did a new one.

 

Would you please explain what the fuck is 46 official group?

 

I also hope that it will be a new song. And, they will release it in digital.

It will be management that chooses the Senbatsu, right? Not the fans, like SSK.

 

Dream senbatsu? More like a nightmare what with all the vapid and senseless hot takes a senbasu of sakamichi members will inspire...

Put the front members of Nogi and Hina together with Sakura 8. There you have it. Dream Senbatsu Yey!!!

 

Some members from each group is obviously going to be there, but there is some space left for some interesting choices. It'll be interesting to see regardless of who's chosen though, so I'm looking forward to it.

Spoiler: Probably of no interest for anyone else, but here's my thinking of who'll be chosen just to have it written down just in case I'm right lmao

Assuming 6 people from each group for a total of 18 members:
Nogizaka46: Saito Asuka, Endo Sakura, Yamashita Mizuki, Yoda Yuki, Ozono Momoko, Ikuta Erika (if free) / Akimoto Manatsu (if Ikuta isn't free)
Sakurazaka46: Morita Hikaru, Watabane Risa, Kobayashi Yui, Yamasaki Ten, Fujiyoshi Karin, Sugai Yuuka
Hinatazaka46: Kato Shiho, Kosaka Nao, Saito Kyoko, Kanemura Miku, Sasaki Kumi, last on is a toss-up between Watanabe Miho and Kamimura Hinano I think.

imo Kubo has a bigger chance of getting in instead of Momoko, if she's free. If not, then I'd say Kaki is in.
The Sakurazaka prediction is spot on although I'd love it if it was Hono instead of Karin but I doubt it.
With Hinata I think Hina has a chance too or even Nibu or Konoka. Is Miipan ready to perform yet? If yes, she's in. Kumi isn't popular but I can see her being included bc of her captain position.

 

I'm assuming Mirei won't be well enough to take part, since she just got out of the hospital. If she is she's 100% in. Kumi being captain was definitely part of why I chose her, generelly captains seem to be chosen for these things from what I've seen. Nibu&Hina are too dependent on the song I think, though they're both definitely popular enough to be chosen (I would definitely prefer them get chosen!). Hinano would give them a 3rd gen rep + imo, she's a future ace so they might want to begin really pushing her now.

 

So Manatsu should be in if Kumi is included
