I was surprised, but she herself says that she is not good at singing.

I believe Shimazaki Haruka's voice is an extremely good voice.

When she gets to the most high pitched notes, at the most difficult spots, finally you can hear her good voice. (laughs)

So I need to corner her every time until she reaches that point, and she corners herself to that point as well, and finally you can hear a good voice.

I recorded her phrase by phrase, so I told her to sing this (phrase) again, told her, let's record this again, and repeat.

We had to have a lot of patience.
Me and Paruru we really worked hard at this. (laughs)

That has really left a lasting impression. It was a tough job. (laughs)

"Paruru sang a song called ‘Douki'(motive) by herself (laughs). Unexpectedly, even though she herself said that she's not good at singing, Shimazaki Harukaactually possesses a really good voice in my opinion. Just when it reaches the highest & hardest note, then only it starts to become a great voice. That is why I tried to push her to that level and at the same time pushing myself too, and at last! It was a slow process, we recorded one phrase at a time, go back for retakes at times. Repeated this process. It required a lot of perseverance though (laughs). Me & Paruru put in quite an effort on that one. It’s a memorable song to me. It was tough (laughs)."
