Good Evening from Tokyo.
Sorry for not being able to comment here for such a long time... I caught a pneumonia in November, the same time when Mayu got ill...
and after I recovered, I had lots of catching up to do with my work...even through the New Years..having to cancel all of HS tickets up until now.

From several weeks ago, the Japanese fans have been planning the campaign for this year and I just wanted to ask one thing...is buying the CD the only way to vote overseas? Is anyone using the "Nihonbashira" fanclub website? I know everything is in Japanese, but if we create a translation, do you think people will try to vote from the fanclub? If anyone could give me suggestions about voting overseas, it will be very helpful.

Also, because I am again in the Birthday committee this year, if anyone is interested,
please send me DM with a Birthday Message to Mayu!! The message can only be 3 to 4 lines as short as;
"Happy 21st Birthday Mayu! I will always keep supporting you and wish to see you in the near future!"
We are still creating the message cards for this year but is planned to be ready by next week or so. When the cards are ready, I will post the image here to show every one.

 

I don't know how the Japanese fan club works but I know the Chinese fans pool their money together. They have accounts on Taobao(like amazon.com) where u can buy fan goods, then the account owner will use the proceeds to buy votes for Mayu. Sometimes, the taobao owners don't even sell anything so u are like donating money instead. This is really useful for fans who can't afford to buy CDs but still want to contribute. In the end u see how much funds have been accumulated and can gauge how many votes it is equivalent to. After voting, many will upload photos of their voting tickets and I think there's a way to check whether the tickets are fraud or not.

But of cos there is the trust issue to think about. Last year there was this guy who collected funds from Mayu fans but voted for a certain HKT girl. And it was 500votes worth of funds.

Amongst the international fans, I don't remember seeing a crowd funding project like that but maybe someone else will know better.
