Some Hinatan acting in this one episode, too (those who know, will know).
On a personal note, it turns out it was a backstory of the Watanagashi chapter from the first season. Poor Keichi thought till the end that it was just about the doll, but in reality it was Shion disguising as her sister and going on her own revenge-driven rampage. Damn.
Looking back to the whole thing, it's really no wonder they cast Rika for the role, she can fit both characters perfectly with her slightly domineering personality.

According to the DVD details, it's going to be just the 10 episodes that they already aired on Sky Perfect TV. Bonus outtakes aside, nothing additional? I haven't been interested in Higurashi until this series came out, but it feels a bit off that the story is left hanging like this, with the timeline still stuck in a loop for some reason even after the mystery has been fully solved.
Isn't there a story arc that still needs to be covered, also?
