IMO 40th single sounds awesome. Buying it to vote or not. I still have a good song to listen to.

I want Sasshi or Yukirin to win this year. Paruru has grown on me but her chances of getting #1 this year are very slim. I hope Takamina gets into Kami7 as a farewell gift, I like Sakura but I'd rather have Takamina than her in the top 7. Sakura's still very young and she can wait.

I think Renacchi might just end up being right on the edge. Juri, Haruppi, Tomu, and Renacchi will be duking it out for UG center or senbatsu.

I stan Renacchi but having her in senbatsu or even UG senbatsu is way too optimistic. Maybe if she charmed everyone off and went viral in the Bokutachi wa Tatarsauce live performances.

IMO, I think Senbatsu is likely to look like this

    1. Sayanee
    2. Yukirin
    3. Sasshi
    4. Mayuyu
    5. Jurina
    6. Paruru
    7. Dasu
    8. Takamina
    9. Yui
    10. Miyuki
    11. Sakura
    12. Haruppi
    13. Sae
    14. Rie
    15. Churi
    16. Tomu

Some people think that SSK is impossible to rig because it's handled by a 3rd person. But the management literally owns the group so they could just make 50.000 codes and use it for the member they want to rig

You think janken could also be rigged?
    I mean

    Shinoda
    Shimazaki
    Matsui
    Watanabe...

    Really??

Not the place to discuss that. Every year we get the very same discussion in the janken thread, so just wait for that.

Members who didn't rank that might rank this year:
    Upcoming Girls:
    Chiyori
    Mikurin
    Aerin

    Future Girls:
    Ikumin
    Ryoha
    Nako

    Next Girls:
    Owada Nana
    Sayaya

    Under Girls:
    Mukaichi Mion (?)

Of course this only includes some members, there are other unranked members that I have no idea where they'll go

@hikariayaka Mayu is pretty low in these; the one on the right is never happening. Miion in senbatsu?? I would love that, but its not happening

Honestly... I want to Mayuyu or maybe Yukirin to be first. Why? i dont hate Sasshi, but i want the center AKB48 is from AKB48 itself, not from the others group.

    But it just my opinion.;)

^independence won't do them good now ... Especially in their current situation , many members have graduated in the past two years cuz of poor managing

Too bad cuz they are my favorite sister group

No because HKT is also managed by AKS and they are a lot more successful. It is something in SKE itself.

    Anyway, off topic.

It seems to feel right from the logic of it... but if that were the case strictly, then why let the sister ships participate? Why not have 4 SSKs a year?

I think it's mostly just a matter of finance (there's no way 4 SSKs are going to generate more sheer cash profit than one big one will, besides 4/yr will fatigue the genpub)... but I think this SSK is significant in that not one, not two, but three non-AKB48 idols are all theoretically capable of teppen, if not the podium. Personally I'm in the Takamina camp for 0-pos'n (and that has its critics), but if she were to somehow drop from contention, after the other two AKB podium incumbents (Yukirin, Mayu) comes Sasshi, then Sayanee. Sasshi's been on top for a long time and deserves to be there as well as get another win, but she is also moto-AKB. My heart wants Sayanee to win, or usurp one of the 3-kisei off the podium. If Sayanee's fans pull this off... she'll be the first Queen to sit atop the pyramid who hasn't been from an AKB48 generation -- and that'll change things dramatically, I think. :hehe:

It's *very* important to use the correct kanji, esp in names. Homonyms are the rule in Japan, but a slip up can confuse identities, much less confuse those that read words using the wrong kanji to mean a particular meaning.
