Happy Ranking MV

 

I'd appreciate Happy Ranking's MV a lot more if there was even an attempt at giving the girls even screentime. From the short version it just looks like yet another Jurina & Backdancers video.

Occasionally I think about the utter poopstorm that would commence if Jurina announced her graduation right now. "Wait, we can't just slap Jurina in the center of every single and possible coupling song and other project anymore?! THAT'S OUR EVERY IDEA FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS DOWN THE DRAIN! WE'RE DOOMED!"

At least the song is good, I like it, but the MV made me think about the state of SKE48 a bit too much.

 

I love this, so much Aiai and Aachan!
The concept is so cute but I hope the actual dance formation isnt them facing eachother lol. It reminds me of the formation for the 3tsu no namida pv but I hope this one will turn out at least better than that with the chess stuff.

 

so, who is the center for this song? airi? aiai? double centre? cute song, cute member.. can't wait to watch a full ver.

Although it's very funny, it's also very accurate.
On the other hand it's not really surprising nor unreasonable for Jurina to center Happy ranking since she's the highest ske member ranked


EDIT: I think for Ii hito Ii hito Sagi is a double center: Mizuno Airi for Angels and Sugiyama Aika for Demons

 

One bottom line from Happy Ranking, ii Hito ii Hito Sagi, and any other song with 20+ girl formation:
Uneven screentime is Absolute.

Time for another "Spot the girl" game. lol

 

I loved Happy Rankings MV just cause so happy. But that doesn't excuse some issues:

The screen time is wayyy too uneven. I get that it feature high rankers more ( and I'm so glad I get to see Oba Mina so much) but still it's weird.

The song is also forgettable but ske nonetheless. In the end I'm glad I got to see Oba mina in the front row having so much fun. I'm so proud of her unbelievable 22 spot in ssk and #4 SKE.

I guess this is one of the PV that done right. Not so much uneven screentime, because there's not much girl to focus on. Congratulation.
