Sure, but they don't play at home all weekends. Since it's not an event that takes a week or so they could easily find a date.

    $$$

But also management can see the ranks (and vote numbers) for #377~#81 so there's still some meaning (even if we don't know about it)

    Oh, and PR I guess.
It'd be good to get their faces out there at one more event.

Remember that they also have a song in the 48th single and probably will participate in its HS. Personally I think they are pushing STU48 way too fast. But it is what it is.

    Why wait? lol

I want to see if the two SR monsters make it, at least, in the prelims.

First, I need to know who are the main and KKS. 2nd, I need to know more about their theater. 3rd, I want to see them perform at theater. After that, I don't have any problem if they join SSK. They certainly can make all of it happen before SSK, but not before the candidacy submission period ended.

Pretty meaningless. Just going to hurt them because no one will rank on their first SSK. Stupid decision lmao.
But hey, maybe it means we'll get profiles soon.

Its not gonna hurt them tho, thy know they wont rank. If anything, its good for them to get their names called at the beginning.

Nah, not that. People will look down at them when they rank for the first time on the 3rd Sousenkyo (for example) instead of the 2nd one, saying they aren't as strong and so on. There is absolutely no need in that.

Well Ryoka won't be in the SSK (as she just announced her graduation).

    Agreed.

Plus you won't have that one (or two in SKE48's case) girl who will pretty much stand out and rank on their 1st try.

That's EXACTLY why I don't want to them to participate.
Katomina had an interval of almost a year between their first performance and the Sousenkyo (August -> June). STU will have, what, two months at best, as they are going to be revealed in April?
So when people will look back at STU48, they will think they flopped because no-one ranked.

You know, sorry if that sounds harsh, but the people in this forum aren't an order of magnitude smarter than the average Japanese fan. If so many people here realise that they didn't rank because it was too early and not for lack of merit, for sure the Japanese fans will too. Maybe a little bit of fan indignation will even work in their favour.

This is the same they did with Team 8 though.
They introduced them during RH on the very last day of applications for the SSK.

I doubt any of them thinks they'll be able to rank. They know how the group functions and having close to no chance of doing it.

I don't get this anger towards them when it's management's choice.
They probably want to see if the super SR spenders spend as much money on this than on the streaming service.

There's the possibility of having a SR event during the campaign period so I'm not sure if it would encourage the big spenders to vote but spend those on gifts which would only takes clicks.
