THE HOOPERS

THE HOOPERS is a ikemen-type girl group. It is also a brother group of Fudanjuku. It was formed in 2014 as finalists for Fudanjuku's younger group auditions. They also have a VEVO channel. Their tag line is "Eight (previously Seven) girls dressed as beautiful boys".

Cecil (AXELL member) joined the group as a kennin on November 2015.

Yuhi and Mizuki announced graduation on February 18, 2017 and will graduate on May 4, 2017.

Just like Fudanjuku, most of THE HOOPERS's fanbase is female.

MEMBERS

Mirai (未来), real name Masuda Kurumi (増田胡桃), born on June 6, 1994 (23 years old), from Tokyo Metropolitan Area, 166 cm height, is the lead vocalist and the center of the group.
Sena (星波), real name Mitsuhashi Nanami (三橋奈波), born on September 1, 1995 (21 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture, 158 cm height, former member of Secret Girls under the name YAH, is one of the three acrobats of the group.
Tsubasa (つばさ), real name Tsuno Misato (津野美里), born on May 18, 1994 (23 years old), from Tokyo Metropolitan Area, 157 cm height. When the group debuted, she had a mushroom hair.
Haruki (陽稀), real name Nomura Hazuki (野村葉月), born on November 26, 1994 (22 years old), from Aichi Prefecture, 163 cm height. Has the least feminine appearance of the group - she looks like a Johnny's talent.
Cecil (千知), real name Sakamoto Chinami (坂本千菜美), born on February 7, 1997 (20 years old), from Kyoto Prefecture, 162 cm height, AXELL Kennin. She was an under when Yuhi was in hiatus, then was officially announced as a full member when Yuhi returned.
Lee, real name Fuma Rikako (夫馬理華子), born on October 9, 1998 (18 years old), from Chiba Prefecture, 161 cm (?) height, AXELL Kennin.
Noa (乃愛), born on March 22, 2000 (17 years old), from Kochi Prefecture, 162 cm height, first from Little Hoop to be promoted to THE HOOPERS, youngest member of the group.

Yuhi (佑妃), real name Miyaji Yukiko (宮地佑季子), born on March 8, 1994 (23 years old), from Saga Prefecture, 159 cm height, is mistaken for a foreigner, is one of the three acrobats of the group, sub-leader of the group. She went on hiatus on July 2015. She subsequently announced her graduation on February 2017. Graduated on May 4, 2017.
Mizuki (泉貴), real name Nakamura Mizuki (中村泉貴), born on April 27, 1992 (25 years old), from Tokyo Metropolitan Area, 160 cm height, is known for her blonde hair. She announced her graduation on February 2017. Graduated on May 4, 2017.
Makoto (麻琴), real name Sato Kotona (佐藤琴菜), born on May 21, 1991 (26 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture, 158 cm height, oldest member of the group, leader of the group, is one of the three acrobats of the group. Graduated on February 10, 2018.

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing them live last year - they really are fantastic performers and singers.
Their performance also made me oshihen from Mirai to Haruki as she was soooo good looking and charismatic.

 

The Hoopers will perform on Japan Expo Paris 2017 that will be held from July 6th to 9th, their performance date will be announce later
