    08. +5: 90. (22) [16|13] Nishino Miki {+98,-36}, 62

Yay for Miorin . For those who gave negative votes, haven't you noticed she's no longer a lemon but a peach?
I'll miss Miki-sensai and her wild dancing 'lessons'. Did better than I expected, considering.
No surprise for Wasamin (graduated) but expected Haruu to do better.

Wow.... only"5"?? I know what you're all asking yourselves.... Do we live in a world where Yuria Kizaki ranked HIGHER than Jurina Matsui??
YEAH! Guess we do! - Don't blame me. I'm just 1 man w/ his 1 ranking
Do We live in a world where Fresh Lemon is FAN Ranked "Higher" than Minigeshi ?? What a strange new world we live in.

I'll bust my analysis & reasons for my Awesomely chill rankings below... & remember FREE Balloons for the Kids!
    :hehe: I'm out of Balloons...

#4 MIO Tomonaga - Whats not to love? She's what guys want! A sweet girl w/ a cute face who despite being rather introverted STILL managers to Go out there get those smiles. I like her humbleness. You can tell even when she's doing Gravure she's not 100% comfortable but she knows it's part of the game & she makes the most of it. Mio has the "Cashew Nuts" (Save the World) smile & shes got a really gentle quality to her. I like how low & almost shaky her voice is- You kind of have to "stop what your doing" just to pay attention to her & that's where the Magic Happens!! She's not some firecracker or wind-up toy- She's like a fine liquor that just gets more "FULL Bodied" age she ages (hehe). I never know what she's going to do. But she's always entrancing & I'm always glad I took the time to "take her in".

One of my Fav songs by her is Milky's Janken WIN song - I think she does it sweeter than Milky. Plus...her hairs getting longer which means MORE Kawaii Powers!!! I love Sakura but she's kinda bigger than HKT - where Mio excels as individual & she's worthy of my #4 spot!

#5 Sakurai Reika (NGZK) - I've always LOVED her. Seriously- she drives me wild. Her eyes, face, Voice...She's other worldly to me. I always look for her when I see anything NGZK46. I've been expressive about her in past years but I could honestly GUSH for pages. THIS year 1 event blew my mind more than ANY event in ALL AKS. Not KomiHaru ranking 21 in the Election, NOT Paruru Grad, Not Milky Grad.... it was Reika's Photo Book! I swear I thought MomoClo would do Porn before I saw Sakurai Reika be in a sexy bikini... It was Good. I saw her do like a press conference about the photobook & she playfully covered up her belly shirt pic w/ her hand. There is something dainty & PURE about her. I love her head tilts & girly mannerisms. Reika acts girly in ways I wish American girls would which is "Girly" - lol.

And she's probably a good Captain too.

#7 Nagisa Shibuya - The Kawaii Queen of Osaka Japan (Besides Sana from KPOP's TWICE). I've always liked her since her debut. I like that she likes to sell her "Cuteness" (in a character sort of way)- that thing w/ her pinky up? I still have NO Idea what that even means but I like it. She posts a lot of pics on her Twitter & she always got a 1,000 watt smile & energy whenever I see NMB48. She's a worthy successor to Milky in my opinion.

#12 Takakura Moeka - She tickles me. when they were very new, she seemed like she was scared of Everything. She seems to have blossomed a bit. She still have a touch of shyness (that I've seen) but like Mio she looks like she's trying really hard & I like that. She seems to be an Awesome Dancer. I saw her dance solo to "Cherry Bomb" on AKBingo and she looked like she best a KPOP girl- When I watch NGT I look for her to see what she's doing & she's usually high energy & on point.

#15 Kitahara Rie - THIS is where the "+2" & such come in handy. I Like her & I think she's adorably sexy. I can't say I like her enough to be "top 10" but she's totally worthy of mention. I've never been disappointed in seeing her & she's got total star quality. I'm glad she stuck w/ AKB in those lean years so now she can lead NGT to greatness. Plus, I like her Gravure so.

    My Negatives....

    #2 Matsui Jurina (-4)
    #3 Minegishi Minami (-3)

    God...where do I start....
Jurina - most of what others have already said I agree with. 1st, No One is disputing her "History" & achievements w/ AKB & SKE but in a odd way, that's part of her problem- I've never seen her "Risk" or Step out of the "Center role" (in SKE) - We all know she's AKI-P's fav & so what (not her fault kinda). It STILL boils down to what I've said in previous years (when I negged her) - She has no "Bonkai" (2nd stage release or 2nd Act). AND as others have said the HYPE is a bit much. It was interesting when she was 13-15 & crushing girls like Mayu in dance & keeping up w/ Yuko but that was 2011-13?. I think a few of us thought she'd evolve in to Itano Tomomi 2.0 or something. She's pretty & she looks like she could easily be 25 or maybe a Bond girl but then we hear how "Young she really is" & she's still kinda shy about dressing & acting "Mature"-- so which is it?? Are you Teen Dream like Sakura (HKT) or are you Haruppi's big sis...who still...can't do Gravure w/out wearing BOY SHORTS!

The other thing that confuses me STILL- Is she AKB or SKE? Did she renounce her Kinnin? Yet- she still is front & center in every AKB "A-Side". I don't hate her but have she ever had to actually "EARN" anything? She's ALWAYS the Center of SKE (fine, it's her group) but I'm curious- lets say she went to NGT48 or Keyezaki for 1 year...would she still be this Shining Diamond? I'd like to see her go toe to toe w/ some of these "newer" girls (Relax!, Not mentioning any names!). Jurina in my opinion doesn't offer enough to justify the "royal treatment"- Now, either AKS is playing it safe & Jurina is basically on Auto-Pilot because SKE doesn't want to move anyone up or Mix it up OR what.

She made 1 comment that came off smug as hell at the Election - she then bragged "I'm not graduating for 5 years!"- like...OK. So basically SKE is going to have the SAME Center (Ace) leadership & face for the next 4 years...wow, way to end the Mystery & Plot developmet. I like many SKE girls but None of them stick around long to give Jurina a a challenge- it's kinda weird. She has no counter-balance. In many ways Paruru was sorta the "Anti-Idol" (Mold Breaker)... Does Jurina have an Opposite? (or is that Not Allowed?).

Seriously- Jurina should do a "character" called 'Lazy Jurina'
    - where she shows up in Tee-Shirt & sweats and just eats Pork Rines (or Potato chips) & swigs soda then Belches- Waves her arms around half-ass and grunts "Uza!"...."Take the Center Suda- Show 'em how it's done"..."what town & group am I in again?...Where's Takamina again? Is she getting cigarettes...been gone awhile". It would be HILARIOUS!! NGT48 dances up a storm & pan to Jurina & she shotguns a beer "Can Sasshi do that? Huuh? Mayu lets get some Fried Chicken, Geesh...you're the last 1st Gen, it's your Treat". She could go on Talk/Variety Shows & just 'chill' & not smile while slouching in the chair.

On Earth 3 (where Superman & Batman are Evil & the Villains are 'Good Guys') Lazy Jurina rules SKE w/ a lazy first until she stumbles by accident on the EARTH Prime. I might make this a Web Comic. It'll be bigger than "Attack on Titan" dudes.

But Hey, if SKE thinks Jurina is worth it - who are we to judge. besides when we do a Stage48 fan ranking poll - lol.

What did she Do? Besides, hanging around trying to pick up an spare attention & 1st Gen backpats Takamina might've missed? If there is a crumb of attention (screen time, close-up, chance to speak on LIVE TV?) Geesh will find a way to grab it and if she fails, she will make the "failure" an excuse to get attention. If that fails- she'll find another way to be noticed...her desire for "attention" is worse than a Gremlin- Get even a few drops of water on it & it spawns MORE Gremlins.

I had a feeling in 2013 that if she survived that Scandal - she'd be the last one to leave. Geesh will out stay Mayu, Sasshi, Yukirin, & possibly Yokoyama Yui...hell, maybe she'll be the Next Shinobu? I totally RESPECTED her last election when she just was grateful & explained she had "Many chances to improve her rank" and she felt blessed to be where she was (I'm Paraphrasing!!)- but She said THAT WAS IT! - Now she's the Last 1st Gen. STILL Looking for "pity points"- She was never in Acchan, Mayus, KojiHaru's, Juinas, Mariko, or Paruru's league - even Takamina had side gigs. It's like she's looking for her "Next Fix" of attention. She even made fun of herself on 'Highschool Girl Detectives" about being from a different Era in Japanese entertainment. I don't care if she stays but quit trying to get sympathy.

Staff matters are handled internally so it's really none of your business, but sure, let me humor you. The first thing I did once I was notified of the missing threads was conduct an investigation. Then, once it was clear which account was responsible, I stripped that account of all moderator privileges to prevent any other damage to the forum. Tags don't give you permissions regarding the forum, just as the Stage48 Donor tag recognizes donors for their contribution but doesn't give them a super secret hidden subforum to be a part of either. While his account may still have the tag, for all intents and purposes Afro_Stud can't do more than you or any normal user can right now and it has been that way since the incident. I've also been repeatedly bugging @Mr Waffle to renew our Xenforo license so we cant get the newest forum software and enable the option of 2-factor authentication since then too, unfortunately to no avail. Thanks for making some many assumptions though about what we have or haven't been doing, and making such an off topic post.

By all means though, continue to not participate in this. It's done for fun each year because it seems a lot of members enjoy it and I'm always more than happy to provide a chance for people to discuss and learn things about members they might not otherwise have known, but let's not pretend I really care whether you send in your ranking or not. Other members seem more than happy to represent their oshis in this. ;)

Snark looks pretty bad on a forum admin. Shouldn't stoop to the level of angry users.

Aww, let me have my fun :( I was just a regular user once too...

But fine, let's bring this back on topic. I had 4 members rank in from ranks 51-100.

My Keyakizaka46 oshi. I bet you all didn't even know I had one, huh? [hehe]

I guess Yuuri is now my favorite in NMB48? Like with NGT48, that really doesn't mean much overall, but I am really hoping they continue her push as the next NMB48 ace.

Having actually met Rara actually pushed her up my rankings quite a bit. We all knew she was really proficient in English, having read her blogs and seen her in videos, but being a teacher makes me doubly appreciate how much work and study must've gone into getting to this level. I don't think even my best students could hold a candle to her, and a lot of that has to do with having the confidence to speak it, even if you make mistakes. Rara has that, which is what I think made the difference. She wasn't hesitant to speak it at all during any of the times I've met her. Sure, we could just both switch to Japanese and probably understand each other just fine, but I appreciate having someone at handshakes that I don't have to really think about what to talk about beforehand, I can just casually launch into English. Besides that, based on how backed up her lines always are, Rara does try to take the time with each fan (as far as the staff will let her) which is appreciated.

As much as I swore off ever using money to actually see her in handshakes again, I still enjoy her MCs when she has other members to play off of. Mio's at her best when she's surrounded by the other HKT48 members and I usually get a laugh or two when she's on stage.

I think I have 10 members left in the Top 50 then? I kind of lost track, but having half left is pretty good I think.

Here's your ranks 26-50! I feel like I should title this portion Keyakizaka46 Rises or something, I mean, look at those jumps! Yuiyui's making a good effort for AKB48 here too and is finally in a position more befitting of her role as Team 8's ace.

And on a personal happy note, I felt like I needed to point out that while Nako has already ranked, Mikurin hasn't yet, which means at least according to Stage48 Mikurin is the more popular of the pair :inlove: After seeing management (read: Sasshi) continually dote on Nako for so long, even though I quite like Nako too, it feels nice to see Mikurin be ranked higher somewhere.

Renacchi is stable, that's good to see? I'm thankful she didn't rank lower, and so happy that Tomu's ranking rose <3

    Update:
My personal top 7 are all top 25, which isn't too too surprising. I'm a super basic new-gen supporter, and I know there are a lot of people on this site that support the girls I support. What's really amazing to see is that Mio and Nako have now ranked and Meru and Miku have not...

    otherwise:
    1-7: saaaafe
    8. Hasegawa Rena (144)
    9. Sutou Ririka (47) - My hands-down NMB48 oshi, because she is just unabashedly Riripon, no matter how strange that is. I think her MC skills are great -- she's so entertaining. She has that kind of troublemaking ability and faux-serious aura happening. I adore her. Anyways.
    10. Kitagawa Ryoha (42) - I'm so happy Ryoha got this high. Last year she didn't make it as far as I was hoping she would in a lot of situations. Seeing her in the Chicken Line PV and in the front row was so fun, though - everything since then also, but Chicken Line was a highlight.
    11. ?
    12. ?
    13. Nakai Rika (50) - I liked Rika at first because my name is Rika lol, but since then, she distinguished herself. I don't spend a lot of time watching SHOWROOM, but I'm really impressed at reports and the few streams I've seen. Good for her, defining herself so much.
    14. Hokazono Hazuki (147)
    15. Goto Rara (66)
    16. Matsui Jurina (55)
    17. Nakamura Ayuka (55)
    18. Owada Nana (last)
    19. Sato Anju (166)
    20. Jitoe Nene (158)

    1. Nagasawa Nanako (+15) - She makes me laugh a lot last year. And it still be for 2017. It's magical.
    2. Yagura Fuuko (+10) - She still makes me laugh. I guess her magic are fading a bit on me. She still my 48G kami tho.

    20. Kizaki Yuria (+1) - I'll be honest. I pick her as she is the example of transfer girl whom could achieve success and grab new fans in her new group. I was wrong.
And it affect my perspective a lot about the group as of now.

Pretty much only 2 left from both my plus and minus list.
    Looking forward to next batch.
