    Thread discussing Kpop & Jpop is closed now, it had serious discussion.

    Well, some Kpop songs now sound like Jack Ü & The Chainsmokers.

    Actually, AKB48 Group has strong fanbase in South Korea. There're Korean fan accounts of some AKB48 Group members. Currently I haven't found collective fan account, like @officialmrk48 that tweets in Korean. Yeah the accounts don't have many followers because they only tweet in Korean unlike fan accounts managed by Indonesian that usually tweet in English. Korean fan accounts use a tumblr like site named tistory for database of pics or videos of their oshimen.

    P.S, pardon the admin of @officialmrk48 because his English is awful. That's why he failed on entrance exam of state university...

    Another story about Joshi kosei and compensated dating in the Washington Post.

    “It’s easy to talk to these girls,” said one man in his 30s who was sitting at a wooden school desk in AKB High School, a cafe in Akihabara, a part of Tokyo known for its subcultures.

    Yuki Aoyama, a photographer known for his “schoolgirl complex” pictures, said the way he sees it, it’s just a business.

    “There are men who want to spend time with high school girls, and there are girls who want to make money,” he said.

    One of the people trying to do something about it is Jun Tachibana, from the nonprofit Bond Project, which is trying to get girls off the streets and stop them from falling into the JK business.

    My bother was/is a big fan of Soundgarden. He did not take well to the news. :(
