Event / Concert AKB48 49th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo (17/06/17)

So there will not be the event in Okinawa but they will announce the results on the same day?

 

Damn, that sucks. Sucks for the people who built the big stages too...

 

The weather wasn't as bad in 2014 as it is there (I'm sure they will still be doing it there if was only a little light rain). This was just bad luck (Don't forget the weather for 2013 and 2016 SSK were pretty good).

I Got no problem that they took a risk with having it here (wish it was able to pay off and they that they didn't have to go to their Plan B).

Will Say though, I think we will see 2018 SSK in a Indoor Stadium (like how they did with 2015 after the rain from 2014).

I noticed Miichan mentioning Yuko's Graduation Concert (Pretty much where this falls into).

 

So.... what is going to happen?

Are all the members going to be live in the community center? Will they all still give their speeches? Will there be some fans in the community center or none at all?

Will it be exactly like the regular ssk, just without concerts and 80% of the fans?

Or is this exactly like the prelims with members not together and just one announcer going down the list??

 

Silent clapping by only members when announce name and crying speech in front of camera in room. Very awkward indeed.

 

Seems like it's no fans, closed door w/members.

 

I wonder if they still bringing out the damn chair lol

 

The hall of the community center has 786 seats. The AKB members will take up 300+ seats plus the seats for staff and guests, so no there won't be any fans in the hall.

The first SSK was at Asakasa Blitz which is tiny so it won't be the first time they've done the event inside a shoebox. Hopefully they won't have TGSK doing the announcing again though lol.

Again, it has been quite a long time since a member giving her speech saw the anger, sorrow, surprise or boredom of the others. One thing is to give a speech to a mass of people whom you can't distinguish their faces, another is to give it noticing some members are hating you for taking their place... it'll be awesome

 

Where is the city hall thing said officially? It's not in the blog post. None of the members nor management have said that it will be. I'm cautious to believe anything stated otherwise.

 

It's still morning there right now, so I'm sure they'll make an official announcement in a few hours or so.

 

Imagine after they cancelled the concert the weather that day is fine and sunny

 

Than means that at the time of the event IT WILL BE SUNNY??
