So are the units just first come first serve? Like, once girls two girls declare they want to compete solo, those spots are filled?

 

If there is more members who want to be solo unit (for example 6 girls) they will do a preliminary round and it will be 2 winners, so 4 girls will be out of the main event.

 

Someone should make a Google Sheets showing the units and what section they want to join.

 

Any new units declares their participation today? I think members are discussing and finding friends now. Lol.

Nothing so far, it seems. I don't see anything on 2ch, at least.

 

Now this reminds me of the akbingo episode where they make units. I hope they'll have those very creative concepts such as the tsundere band Bitter Milk.

As for the existing units, SasshiYukirinMiichan's unit should be called Scandal

Units I wanna see:

I'm starting to wonder if this will turn into a Love Crescendo type of release.

Like, the girl who gets 1st gets her unit to release a song, but what about the girls who get 2nd, 3rd and so on?

It would be nice if the top 7 gets songs as b-sides and do some hs events or whatever to improve the sales.

 

Also, seems like Kinoshita said she won't participate in the Janken Taikai - Some user on Twitter posted that they asked her about it on yesterday's event (after it was announced, I assume) and she said she won't participate.

Murakawa Bibian said on her 755 that she'll announced the members she is going to run with tomorrow (25/07).

Hashimoto Haruna confirmed that she thinks about it as a the chance for Team 8 to get a single debut.

 

Can they opt out of janken as well? Wouldn't that be a first?

I hope the Team 8 girls just make up units among themselves.
Maybe a 16nin unit would be too risky since it's all or nothing, but 10 units of 4 or something would spread up the possibilities lol

 

It's possible for the whole Team 8 to do one big unit, but's it's safer to be separated.
