    Sasasasaiko is good as well..

    My ranks
Mirurun solo > Masaka Singapore > Sasasasaiko > Namba Ai (not really excited with Namba Ai, it's basically the same as Orera to wa but a bit more composed)

I finally listened to all 4 new songs!

    For me:
Sa Sa Sa Saikou >>>>>>>>>>> Masaka Singapore >> Boku wa Aisarete wa Inai >> Namba Ai

Sa Sa Sa Saikou is really an ear worm help me lol.
Though I wonder why they gave it to the 5th gen babies to sing it and not the senbatsu.
It's probably to evoke that sense of new hope and looking forward to the future and what not haha.

    Oh well it's kamikyoku for me ;_;

The other 3 songs were solid imo. So maybe this is a good thing. I rather have 4 solid songs than 10 new songs I'm mehs about so XD

Namba Ai sounds like a song that you could only appreciate live haha. It's not a bad song but I think there's something that feels lacking in the studio recording.

I actually really liked Mirurun's solo Boku wa Aisarete wa Inai, but at the same time, Masaka Singapore has grown so much on me it has become a bop now. I also feel like I could listen to Masaka Singapore longer without getting bored of it so I ranked it above Mirurun's solo lol.

Well, their last album was roughly THREE YEARS ago, but I'm not sure if that Suto shock really affected the sales after all, and/or HKT48 was also releasing a single on the same day, and/or something else...any ideas?

Putting up the Oricon article here:

The application period almost 100% conflicted with the new AKB single application period. Think about it this way, would you buy an NMB CD for handshake only when you can buy an AKB CD at half-price and you get autographs/selfies/pics etc and also be able to go to all the idols you want under 48G and not just be stuck in an NMB event.

Another example of AKB release leeching their own sister group sales, isn't it?

No. They just didn't try with this release. it's basically a A + B side collection

lmao, Riripon's "scandal" destroyed the sales? I wonder what scandal affected SKE's Kakumei no Oka since it sold less than Namba Ai. Hmm..

^ combination of both tbh, and like I said, NMB is not the only victim, all of other SGs are (I still believe NGT could have sold a bit more even though their number was decent for a debut).

Same thing happened with SKE and HKT singles. There was a massive backlog of single releases and AKB clearly wouldn't let anyone release before SSK.

And I can guarantee you that had less of an impact on sales versus the effect of the AKB single.

I haven't listened to the new songs, but I'm not surprised at the sales.

What did they expect with 4 new songs? This is a fraud lol

And even after SSK, the release date are stacked with each other(SKE-Keya, NMB-HKT), albeit with pretense of single/album.
Speaking of which, with only 4 new song, NMB should have released single. Not album.

    Or is it?

They probably wanted each group to have one more no.1 under their belts.
If they both releasedsingles, one of them had to be 2nd.

Still, I do think this should have been a single. Had it been cheaper to get HS tickets, they would've sold more.
