I heard Mariko-sama will be a guest star in Uchi no Gaya Sumimasen at the same recording with AKB48. So, this will be reunion for her.

I had to laugh when I heard it, it's the theme music to a long-running vintage British kids' TV show called 'Animal Magic' which was on BBC TV from 1962 to 1983 - how on earth did that piece find its way to Japan??? (although it's also been used more recently for a BBC sitcom called 'W1A', but even so...)

The theme to Animal Magic like much of the music on British tv in the 60's and 70's was a piece of what's called Stock Music or Library Music. It was made by specialised music publishers using house composers and session musicians and was only available to tv, radio and film producers to use as themes or background music. It was cheaper to license music like this rather than commission something specifically for a tv show.

If you got to youtube and do a search for stuff like KPM library, Chappell Library music or Bruton Music you'll find lots of it, my personal favourite is Alan Hawkshaw who was especially prolific.

 

GEES already subbed this week's AKBINGO episode, i hope someone will sub Uchi no Gaya, or at least hope GEES will also do that.

Man, this week's episode + Uchi no Gaya was fantastic.
Next week seems very promising too!

 

Haven't seen Uchi no Gaya ga Sumimasen yet, but I really enjoyed this episode. Komiharu being a photographer was cute

But The W audition without NMB48 member is unacceptable for me.

 

I was surprised at that, too. Why didn't anyone from HKT apply either (but NMB is still more surprising)
