I like to think that Sayaka released an album as an artiste while Mayuyu did so as an idol She's also styled a lot better this time, no more Avril Lavigne wannabe aesthetics, I'm loving it

Also, Sayanee immediately got a solo album, instead of a solo single.

After observing Sayanee for the past year or two, I think she has what it takes to go solo full time and graduate. I personally think she's going to announce next year, 2019 latest. I feel as if she already has the confidence nmb48 will be fine without her. Her music has the potential to do amazing. Maybe not the top artist, but who knows. Her voice is unique, and she's already enjoying her own time creating her own music. I would love to see her sign with avex or ldh after she graduates. (although this is highly unlikely)

^God no, LDH would destroy everything good about sayanee's concept as a soloist (and i'm saying that as a huge fan of LDH and its artists lol). Avex maybe, but a huge no to LDH lool

@TakaErepyon She said she is going to stay in NMB until she is 30ish. Despite her talent, I don't think she would have a big solo music career if she left NMB. These last 12 to 13 months are probably as good as it gets for her. But she will probably continue getting lots of attention and plenty of gigs hehe. And on the plus side she mentioned somewhere she would like to compose a song for NMB, so that's pretty cool (but will it actually happen though).

Yeah, I don't know what it is but, as painful as it is to say, it seems as though she'll never hit it big as a solo artist... though one can hope.
Out of curiosity, might I ask you where is it she said she'll stay until 30ish?

Wow I hope not. I'm so done with her as an idol. RISE SOLO ARTIST SAYAKA!

Idols always say things like that, most of the time the idol never comes close to what she says.

Realistically, I see sayanee leaving at the end of next year IF the NMB girls improve in sousenkyo. If not I see her sticking around until spring 2019.

I'm not sure the NMB girls can do better if she sticks around, what they need is for a young talent to emerge, and while Sayanee is still here I don't see it happening.

They won't find a Techi type girl like that, but basically that's what they need.

^The thing is though, if Sayanee just graduates quickly, it will impact the group a lot. She's the only member non 48 fans know when someone mentions NMB, they need to slowly take her out of the group while simultaneously bringing in the next big faces a la Miru, Akarin, Yuuri, Ayaka etc.

I'm not a specialist as I do not follow the 48G world much, but it seems the same is happening in AKB where they decided to stick with members who were good for sales, and now the future looks tough as it looks there will be a big void at the top when Sasshi finally decides to follow Mayuyu.

    Generations were lost..

I fear that she stays to help NMB, but in doing so prevents new girls from emerging...

Any word on how her NHK concert turned out?
It was the biggest venue in her tour

Chatted with a guy on twitter, he said it was the best so far and it was filmed for upcoming BluRay.

Lots of staff and penlights prohibited apparently.

if the video does not show watch the video here

I know that she will not be in the group when she is 30 years old woman, But this means that at least 3 years she will still be there and it's great! :flower:

I think it happened that way for AKB because as popular members started to graduate, management replaced those girls with popular sister group members to maintain sales rather than adding new AKB faces, so the new gens didn't have a chance to shine. As you said, many generations with great talent have been lost, but maybe when the last of the oldies leave, management can do a complete overhaul of AKB and it could benefit them well.

NMB has a different case where old members graduated and were replaced by new faces, so people know these new girls. The problem lies that while there are all these new faces at the front, the MAIN girl (sayanee) is still there, and still the only relevant one except from Riripon who graduated. They need to get someone on her level before she leaves so that NMB can remain relevant, which means they should try their best to make those girls (miru, akarin, yuuri, nagisa, ayaka, yuuka?) more popular with the general public so when she does leave, the group doesn't face such a heavy blow. I like that they're not putting her at the center or next to the center. Having her at the side is great. That being said, I think NMB will just fine when sayanee leaves lool. Can't say the same for other sister groups....
