Hopes, Fears, and Predictions for 2018 (NGT48)

With 2017 coming to a close. It's time to do the yearly tradiation for Stage48 (which now is for all the groups)

So what are your Hopes, Fears, and Predictions for 2018 for NGT48?

2017 - 2016

 

Review from last year:

Well, too much right, Seichun dokei was certainty not SaiMajo level, but it was good. also about NGT members ranking, SALVAGE.

For this year:
Hopes:
-The "SSK hype massive rank" delivers!!!
-Third and fourth singles.. at least one with Katomina or Okkapa as centers...

Fears:
-The ssk hype dies right away

Predictions:
-EVERY MEMBER WILL CRY RIVERS FOR KITARIE. (Is not like this prediction can miss)
-2gen announced later in the year.

 

i didn't participate last year, so i have nothing to review unfortunately.

HOPES:
- maho gets more modeling opportunities! (not gravure, a female fashion magazine perhaps?)
- katomina makes a triumphant return in ssk, gets favoured again by management
- a studio show?! (yeah, i know, in my dreams)
- yukirin ends n3 kennin lol.

FEARS:
- most of ngt falls back out of ssk, ogiyuka will experience a massive drop (i really hope she is mentally prepared for this...)
- management freaks out due to bad sales and tries some weird tactics to make up for them (pushing rika as the only ace and centre, or kennins...)
- with the arrival of draft members and a new team, ngt lose their characteristic bond and closeness </3

PREDICTIONS:
- team G announced at 2nd anni concert
- ogiyuka is promoted to n3 captain in kitaries grad speech

 

Hopes
- Rie gets a grad song and it's good and makes me cry a lot
- Katomina in Undergirls
- Kenkyuusei B-side with PV

Fears
- Ogiyuka falls to lower senbatsu in SSK and management decides to "punish" her for not living up to expectations

Predictions
- 3rd single center is Rie (or is this a hope?)
- Mihachan or Ayanyan promoted to NIII, other KKS promoted to G
- 2nd gen auditions

 

Hopes
- Rie gets a beautiful grad song
- We get another great song like MaxToki (hopefully centered by Okappa)
- Single sales improve!!!!!!
- Hinatan and Okappa center
- Okappa gets to be center again (personal wish)
- More NGT girls rank in the SSK
- Okappas rank improves (my wallet is ready)

Fears
- Major Nakai Rika solo push (i dont hate her but Im afraid she might get goripushed)
- SSK results suffer major drop, members fall out of senbatsu, hype dies out, Ogiyuka suffers huge drop
- Managment gives up on certain members due to bad results and sales

Predictions
- Second Gen announcement and auditions
- End of Yukirin concurrency
- New Team G
- Kitarie grad everyone cries
- 3rd single center is Hinatan or Okappa (or Rika again...)

 

So you want Hiwatashi Yui to get transferred from AKB to NGT? lol

* Hopes:
- Single sale improves
- Public recognition increases. They will have a song drawing public interest.
- Katomina, Okappa center at least one more song w/ MV.
- Riko gets more recognition. Her HS improves.
- Rika gets a proper push (not over, not under). She can sell all HS again.
- SSK result is on par or better than this year.
- KKS promotion. Team G is formed.
- A nationwide studio based TV show. That show will be amazing for sure but unlikely it can happen.

* Fears:
- 3rd single sale sucks, even much lower than the 2nd one due to SSK.
- Huge drop in SSK results, particulary Yuka & Rika.
- Rika push goes wrong. She cannot sell any HS slot anymore. Some fan rebelous actions harm the group overall performance.
- The group is not closeknit anymore due to mismanagement and the coming of new members.
- No KKS promotion
- Some members graduate: the old ones (Gatanee, Mahohon), the unpopular ones (Mau, Ainya), and the falling ones (e.g. Katomina).
- NF ends and no replacement. NGT has no show like HKT.
- NGT hype dies. Team 8, STU, or some new groups shadow them.

* Predictions:
- 3rd single sale is low.
- Katomina increases her rank while Rika drops.
- Next MV in AKB single is centered by Okappa.
- KKS promotion & team G formation.
- AKS still ignores Hinatan & Gatanee

• Gatanee,Mahohon and Katomina rank higher
• Tsugumin ranks

Fears:

• Katomina unranked
• Hinnatan drops from ssk senbatsu
• Okappa drops
• Ogiyuka gets to center every single

 

Hopes

• NGT48 2nd Generation
• Team G
• Public knows more about the other girls in NGT48 (Not just Rie, Katomina, OgiYuka, and Rika)
• NGT48 Tour (Need more concerts then just the one we have at Tokyo Dome City Hall)
• Yukirin Kennin Ends
• Management stops goripushing Rika

• Rie gets an awesome grad song
• Katomina has a Huge Jump in the SSK
• More NGT48 Girls rank (Like Tsugumin who I think is a lock)

• Rie gets screwed over for a grad song when they don't release the 3rd Single in the Spring
• NGT48's Momentum drops (and has a crappy showing at the SSK)
• Yukirin's Kennin Continues

• Team G is created with the NGT48 KKS getting promoted while Gatanee, Katomina, Noepii, and Hinatan all get moved there (Gatanee becomes Captain of the Team while

• A solo concert (not related to the AKB concert series thingies)
• A new stage (if not original, a stage mixed of songs and not another copy & paste setlist)
• Katomina jumps high in the SSK

Fears

• Members drop like flies in the election and aren't prepared.
• One or no singles
• Management only pushes one member
• Kitarie centers a a graduation single. I respect her, but would prefer other members to do that.

Prediction

• 1 to 2 average singles
• 2nd generation
• Management only pushes a few members
• Members drop in the election.

 

Hopes
-Rie gets a GREAT grad song
-Katomina makes a comeback and ranks higher on SSK
-More members will rank (tsugumin for sure)
-More gravure/modeling works, photobooks would be good
-Katoepii gravure shot (PLS GOD)
-Management pays atention to Kks
-Ogiyuka gets 3rd place
-Gatanee gets promoted to captain after kitarie graduation
-HS sales improves
-The "forgotten" members get known

Fears
-The girls on Senbatsu and Undergirls experiencing a major drop
-Riechan getting 3rd Single center (I love her but don't think i'd be a good idea)
-Rikahime gets major solo push and gets even more hate
-3rd single flops
-Mass graduation after Kitarie's (aka Maeda Atsuko effect)
-They try to make a "ace" outta ogiyuka and she gets every single center
-Yukirin won't end her kennin and keeps getting more attention then actual ngt members
-Rie don't even gets a grad song

Predictions
-"Shuffle" on NGT's concert and kks promotion
-Team G is created, Gatanee is captain, Katomina, Noepii and Riko go to the team
-Yukirin drops out from NIII
-Katomina increases her rank to at least 60's
-At least 3 draft members
-2 gen audition on the middle of the year
-Ayutarou, Noepii and Tsugumin rank
-Hinatan drops on ranking cuz management won't even look at her (really angry)
