So the theater is also not confirmed right

 

Yeah no info on the theatre yet. Basically no confirmed info on the show other then that it’s airing mid 2018.

Only info on the group is that it’ll be a global aimed group, members will be (dominantly) Korean-Japanese, there will be multiple teams, and there’ll be a designated theatre.

Hope there will be new info tomorrow since it’s the last day of applications.

A part of me wants my favorite members to join, but another doesn't want them to. I'll still support any 48G member who joins though.

Also Loona most likely won't participate(if it's permanent) since 2jin is in mix9(in top 3 too) and they're set with a new member in a week and 3rd subunit is around the corner along with all 12 members finally debuting. Maybe the OEC girls since they're just doing cameos and such, but again if it's permanent(confirmed?)none will

I've always liked how connected theater performances looked/are so hopefully they'll make a theater for them specifically.
Excited to finally watch a Produce series to the end this time!

Nonetheless if its a perm grp, im expecting their theatre to be at Myeongdong and hopefully when i go korea their stuff are all in place. but 1 question... Will they debut this year before wanna one goes or start of next year...

It came from a Naver article (they’re the first to report on majority of all news Korean related). I can’t find where exactly it said it, but I saw people translate that it would be the final Produce season & that it’ll be permanent

Myeongdong would be a nice spot, but I think they’re going to put it at Gangnam. Considering it’s a high class area, plus AKB48 performanced in a casino there in 2016 I believe

 

^^^^ Yeah I agree for Gangnam (for all the reasons listed previously but also because it's kinda THE kpop district) but Hongdae is another possibility because of all the young people hanging out there

Either way if they use it they'll probably redecore it or else the fans will get angry

I do hope Seung Gi will be the host I love him ! He is extremely talented & he really looks like a nice human being so I think the girls will be happy to have him around
For those who don't know him he's a singer (his nickname is The Prince Of Ballad) & has skills for everything related to the entertainment world (his 2nd nickname is Triple Threat Entertainer) so I think he is the perfect match for the AKB girls & this season~
Ah I almost forgot to say but nowadays he's more into acting and his career is pretty impressive (his most famous works include My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho and The King 2 Hearts but also Gu Family Book and You're All Surrounded) He's currently busy promoting & shooting Hwayugi (most korean dramas are shoot while airing) but he'll probably be free the rest of the year if the drama doesn't hit too big (even if it was written by the Hong sisters I don't think it will go viral)

They’ll need to have at least 1-2 judges who know Japanese to communicate with 48G girls.

Interested in how the 48G girls will audition. Would they use one of their own songs, or cover another Jpop song or even a Kpop song

Would be interesting if there was a 48G cover mission. They could change it up with a Korean version and maybe even a remix of how one of the original songs were like

Like how it was for Real Girls Project when they had their own versions of some Idolmaster songs

Maybe they'll have 2 judges for each discipline ? One korean & one Japanese, or just people who are fluent in both.

I think they might do like MIXNINE, except that instead of having a "boys vs girls" thing it'll be 48 group vs the rest. The AKB girls could cover kpop songs while the rest could cover AKB songs thanks to this:

- Everyone would be equal because they would all have to start from scratches
- No risk of comparison, which means less bad comments about the 48 members for performing less well than their Koreans counter parts on their own songs
- The non AKB girls would learn in advance the songs of AKB which would fasten the preparations for their debuts

 

This source also listed Kara’s Youngji & Ayumi as a street MCs, Youngji for Seoul & Ayumi for Tokyo

This actually would be good. AKB Girls & Kpop Trainee girls excel in their own aspects, so having them switch with each other in order to start training in other aspects would be great

Hopefully like Mix Nine/The Unit they’ll have separate votes as well (just in case certain people want to just vote for certain ethnicities). Have 1 category for the Korean side, & have another for the AKB48 side.

I would love to see Meru on PD48 for her last shot but she can’t sing nor dance nor is she the skinniest :/

 

I hope too that Jinyoung would produce music for the show. He is really talented. Lee Seung Gi too. I think he could be a good host.

@Crystelle your comment made me realize that they probably choose Younji because of the popularity of Kara in Japan and In South Korea, that's a smart move
